Hello. Iv got a cycle trip around thailand, Cambodia and Laos for a few months next year. Do you think the M10 is well suited for my trip ? .Im not wanting to spend a fortune on a cam (£100 max). As well as it needing to been robust, there's gonna be a lot of dust and maybe a little rain, It also need good battery life. Do you think this is well suited or would you recommend another model ?. Your advice would be much appreciated. Regards

Excellect video! Some questions. Do you think M10 can work well as a car dash cam? (can it stand the heat, capture the car numbers when moving.) Is the motion sensor working when the cam is off? How does motion sensor gets activated and then sleep again? (I want to switch off the cam after I parked my car, if some car/people pass by the cam, i want to record it) Does motion sensor use a lot of battery when it is standby? All functions can be operated on the cam buttons, without using phone app correct? Thanks a lot.

Really excellent review, just two thing I didn't notice mentioned: are all samples recorded with the default sharpness setting (normal) and does image stabilization works only for photos, or also for video (I noticed video tends to be very shaky at some moments)?

Ok sorry for the caps didn't know  it was on .They made it clear to me I have to buy a battery to use it . So I went with the SJCAM M 10 plus sport . Will it take video like this or is it you are good at it . Good job on the video . I will remove the it have a nice day thanks .

Great review and great footage from your country, I'm sure it is Bulgaria. I have the SJ4000 and have just updated the firmware although apparently the older firmware gives clearer footage. I am considering the M10, but looking at various reviews before purchasing, I also prefer its look compared to the SJ4000.
should I buy the sj4000 wifi or m10 Wi-Fi? Also, does the m10 have video time lapse now? :)

I have now switched to the GoPro Hero 7 BlackMy SJCAM SJ8 Pro broke within a couple of months of using it (shut off and wouldn't turn on at all). SJCAM told me to contact the seller which I did who offered to send me a new never arrived. They supposedly sent a second (from Malaysia again) it never arrived again. Then the seller said they would refund me.never happened despite repeated promises. I contacted SJCAM to tell them I wanted to get a replacement and sent them video of the malfunction (like I did to the seller). They erased my help ticket like it never existed.I haven't heard back from them.I'm done with SJCAM.which is sad because I like the SJ7 STAR for cockpit audio when I fly. The only problem I've had with the two SJ7 STAR cameras is that the micro usb port has broken off in both cameras (I superglued a micro usb to usb cable on the second one before it totally broke off so I could keep using it in the plane while charging it at the same time with a USB power supply). The first SJ7 would not record sound after the micro usb port broke (while using the plug in official SJCAM microphone. The GoPro Hero 7 surpasses 's all I'm sayingthe only problem is that it's never going to be as cheap as SJCAM. I did all of my video reviewing with the SJ7 and SJ8 but they will be retired soon with GoPro cameras. The hypersmooth technology is what sold me and it is great. I do not have room in the plane to have a gyro. UPDATE: They also took down my 2nd help ticket without anything saidDO NOT BUY SJCAMor should we call it SCAM and make the J silent?
TECHMOAN: You sir are a rebel LMAO, love the finger! OK now to business how long will this thing record before going into a loop? not looking for the life of the battery but i am looking for the length of a straight recording before the camera goes into a recording loop. I have a soocoo 30 1080p with wifi and i cant get it to go past 10 min of recording with out going into a recording loop, even with the loop turned off it does this. i was told by the soocoo people that ALLLLLLLLLLL sports cameras do this soooooo i have been asking every reviewer this same question.
For anyone concerned about longevity of this brand's products, my SJ1000 is still going strong.

What settings did you use for the sample video?
I got the same one from Amazon and today I was using the app. I got an error MSG "I regret to tell you that the products you buy are counterfeit products! Please contact your dealer!" The sticker on the box show it is real but the camera itself, there are no way to check if it is fake.  Also I try to update the firmware and it will not install.  You should try to update your firmware and is if yours is real.
