I like triangle chalk is best
I use Master grey chalk, no coloured dye used.
I use both. I find Triangle best in ideal snooker conditions however if it is damp or humid, Master chalk is much better. I think this is down to the Master chalk being a little grittier than the Triangle.
Review about tip, please And professional use which one, because I m still confused about elk master, never Description on the box, soft, medium or hard, Some times club cue tip better then mine🙄

How do we know the difference between a dry n a gloss chalk to buy it online
The master chalk is just too powdery for me. I end up with it all over my hand. I've noticed professionals that use it seem to leave powder trails after screw shots. Johns Higgins and Stuart Bingham for example

I always have a half dozen cubes around the table. Almost as many brands. Not to be frivolous but 'I don't care' which I use. A bigger variable is temperature and humidity. The difference between brands?...meh. How many strikes? Doesnt matter. I'm chalking up at least every third shot at home...more likely every shot when out playing. Then again, my favourite Scooker cue ever is a $20 one piece.

2 version of masters chalk. Your using the flagged version. Pre-flagged version gives more of everything you mentioned in this clip especially longevity in my own opinion. Anyways these are my preferences: 1. Taom v2 2. Taom v1 3. Triangle pro 4. Masters pre-flagged 5. Triangle 6. Masters flagged 7. Have you tried Lava chalk? I bought a 2 pack just to try it and it's not gritty like Masters but also doesn't seem to adhere to the cue tip very well.

im at a loss as to why you wouldnt have Kamui chalk on this list... and premium chalk does more than prevent miscuing for a longer duration. For example, kamui chalk is difficult for a many players to use because it adds much more spin on the cue ball. Kamui chalk on a Kamui tip is something out of this world.

Thanks for the review. I just switched to Predator as it seems to hit the sweet spot between value and quality for me. I found it was definitely a lot different than Master's, much smoother and 'wetter' for lack of a better term, but in a good way. This did make it pretty messy at first, my first few session left the cue ball looking like a robin's egg. I reshaped my tip after a few goes with the chalk, roughed it up good and once the Predator was really well saturating the tip, it seemed to form a nice layer of chalk and the messiness went away almost completely. I still chalk every stroke, I can't say that it has improved the amount of extreme English I can put on the ball, but contact is now much more consistent, especially on deep screw shots.
Would you do another comparison with chalk but this time pocket straight in balls using maximum draw and or spin to determine how long it will last after one chalking?

I use Triangle and Taom 2.0. It's a shame that the only two chalks in the video really suited to English pool and snooker tables are Master and Taom Pyro. I'd like to try the rest if I ever get the chance to play on American tables.
I've used a bunch of these and always go back to master. I still have the .98 I bought for 20 as a promo when it first came out. It leaves to many dots on the cueball and will cause skids in the long run. I tried to break the world record for longest spinning cue ball. Anyway I was able to get 22 seconds but I wasn't able to do any better with kamui than Masters which was kind of surprising because the kamui really sticks. Also surprising to me is I was able to do it with a predator bk3 what's my best speed my other regular leather tips were around 17 or 18 of seconds continuous spin I was able to get 22 seconds with a predator break shaft. The previous world record was around 23 seconds and Venom trick shots did 27 which is kind of insane how he did it. HAHA I remember your vid of beating Shane a while ago.

On my home table the Kamui chalk left the most chalk on the table of all I've used. I'm a Master's Chalk guy all day now that they have Sky Blue.
