hey man just saw this video of yours and it's very nice, I just want to ask I have HP 810 revolve G2 with 8gb RAM at the moment and I'm thinking about upgrading it but only one stick can be changed because the other one is soldered down to the mobo, I run on 1600 mhz ddr3 and it says on the hp website that I can only put 12 gb of ram in my laptop but is that true or can I add more than 12 gb and is it okay if I use one stick that is 4 gb the soldered one and one 8gb stick from a different brand most likely crucial, thank you man!

My Acer laptoo has 4gb of onboard ram, that you can't remove. So if I wanted to upgrade i could go for 2x4gb which would be in dual channel, but only 8gb.

Someone has added an extra 4 gig of ram to the toshiba i have but they have added a slower speed stick with a faster one will change it at some point a toshiba l50 came with 8 gig of ram a 1tb hard drive an intel i3 4005u cpu intel graphics my dad paid 5 at a car boot only fault was a slight crack near the power port and port had gone inside the case a bit it is connected by wires so i put it back to were it should be and worked perfect needs a key board now as some keys are not working .
