this is for ps4
The company sell it and without disk as Armor A30 Enclosure. What is the maximum capacity of disk that can support?
I have this HDD used it for less than a month now and it suddenly can't be recognized by any laptop or pc. It doesn't make any unusual sound inside of it. Can't be detected on disk management as well. It didn't fell or anything, I was able to use it yesterday but when I checked today its no longer detected in any computer... :( I have saved a lot of files in it could anyone help me how to fix it.....
I bought one a few years ago and now I forget what is on it and I am unable to retrieve anything from it. My laptop will not recognize it yet it makes that noise that tells me that it received it when I plug it in. I am still looking for a tutorial that will help me with that. Maybe you can make one. Thanks
Guys if u play in this no problem?
How long will it last?
Your review is good, and well done, but why didn't you mention the biggest problem of this drive? The wrong usb port on the drive itself. They put an "A" usb port on the device, which is what is used on the computer end. This forces you to use a "special" usb cable that has the same end on both ends. A normal usb cable has the "A" and "B" end. All devices and drives need to have the "B" usb port on them, so that a normal usb cable (commonly available) can be used. This design ruins what would otherwise be a good backup drive. These companies need to stop trying to force us to buy specialty cables, when we all have an abundant supply of normal usb "A" to "B" cables! Hopefully Silicon Power company is listening........
What brand inside?
does it work on Mac OS X?
does it work on windows 10?
giving this to my clumsy aunt
welp, i'm buying this next.
Wonder if it could survive reentry...
Does It Work On Windows 8....
I had bought this device since September last year and not found any faulty on it. Awesome portable HDD I must say and really recommend it to all portable storage lovers.
Neat Review! Buying one today!
this is for ps4
Thx man, good vid
Does this product work with the PS4?
Good video thanks. My WD Winbook died, 3 terabytes LOST. I will try one of these.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Cannot get it to show on my Mac desktop. It actually says in this in finder when I click on it in locations "“External HD” can’t be opened because the original item can’t be found." Not sure what to do now?!?
Bro can i play in there too its no lag?
I decided to look this hdd up again because I've been using my sp armor a30 for almost 3 years now no problems
How long have you had this external hard drive? I just don't want to invest in it if it will only last a year...
What about speeds moron
Hey Gordon, I live your review. The only one so far that I've seen that goes past opening the box to actually plugging the HD into a computer. The users manual has no instructions on how to actually 'use' the device. Nor are there any instructions on their website. Could you possibly see your way to making a video on how to use the external hard drive--specifically, how to load the drive, how to extract specific files, how to delete files that you no longer need, how to update with new files, how to restore files to your computer if your internal HD crashes. [I'm old school. I feel like this kind of shit should be written in the users manual. When it isn't, I feel like I've been taken.]
