Is compatible with all nikon F lens? Or only sigma lens?

yes i tried it on my nikon 200-400 f4 and lost two stops compared to my nikon 1.4 tc ii . which is razor sharp and only gives 1 stop light loss . Sports photographers spend a fortune on converters because of the expensive coatings nikon like zeiss and meopta which retain over 98% light transmission .no cheap converter will do , iv used them all with very expensive lenses . you get what you pay for 2x converters are out .1.4 max .£400 is nothing months down the line when quality is your goal otherwise just crop in to your image otherwise image quality will suffer .

Excellent lens I could not be happier. Works great on my Canon 80D. Autofocus is smooth, silent and quick. Images very sharp throughout the focal length/f stops. Nice, sturdy build, definitely recommend this lens for APS-C cameras! Comes with a nice carrying case! Very pleased with this purchase!
People heavily criticising teleconverters or even cheaper ends of lenses are always comparing to higher end lenses which cost thousands. I can NOT afford the canon 400 or similars. Thanks for the video

ok.i have a Sigma 120-400 zoom using it on a Canon 5Ti. If I were to buy this 1.4 converter, will it work best on the Sigma lens only, or just as well with my Canon 75-300 or the anon L series 24-105 lens? I recently purchased a 2x converter and find it to be slow or not great to auto focus. I am not happy with the 2x, so looking to buy the 1.4. What is your view on the auto focus of the 2x vs. the 1.4? Jerry M

Hi Vincent, would it be better to use a Canon extender to a Sigma 120-300mm sports lens rather than a old version of Sigma teleconvertor?
Sigma 300 F2.8 APO EX DG plus Sigma 1.4 APO EX DG extender with a Canon 7D . Effective 760mm at f4 with a backlit subject I love the combination and I'm an L series addict , I can only comment on my TC which is a Sigma 1.4x EX APO TC, but I have used it with my 3 Canon telephoto lenses, and it functions very well (contrary to the lens maker's directions). Just fyi. Thanks for the video.
You covered some very complex issues there and you did it very coherently, well done. You must keep the Sigma on AI Servo whether you are using one shot or high frame rates, or so I have found in my experience with the 150-600 Sport and a tripod is essential. I also keep it at around f9 all the way through so your light doesn't dip and auto ISO with your shutter speed at the highest you can get. It's quite surprising how good you can get the depth of field even at f9, especially if you give it a little help in Photoshop, but I hate that fake shallow depth. I also got the 2x but that takes your ISO to silly levels and I use that most for recording sightings of unusual birds rather than a quality shot.

Thanks for this video, I'm to using a Sigma 150-600mm C lens and also own a Sigma 1,4x Teleconverter, so I was thinking about this Sigma 70-200mm lens in your video and I've got an opportunity to buy one for $250 in perfect condition. After watching this video I've got no doubts anymore, I'm buying the 70-200mm and I'm also gonna use it with my 1,4x Teleconverter to get that extra reach when needed, a good complementary lens to the 150-600mm especially when traveling. If you are rocking a Nikon DSLR for example. Using this teleconverter on anything other than a Sigma Lens will give you issues.
Hi there. Can you tell me what effect this will have on an 8-16mm A mount - Aps-c lens on a A7r2 (fullframe) with the leae adapter?. As of now there is a hard vignette on 8mm due to the Aps-c. On 16mm there is no vignette. Will this adapter make the lense usable on 8mm? Thanx :-)

I have a question for you, I used the lens for 15 shots and I was highly impressed. How long have you had the lens and how good is the lens overall? How is the build quality been for you long term? Have you had any problems with the rear lens mount becoming loose? This lens seems to focus fast and produce great results as good as the competition. This lens is heavy and I’m considering a purchase in the next few days.
