eh he tried. lol
That music sounds like the Quora.TV intro theme :T also those 2011 blown out highlights, weeewwwww lol
Cold in Hong Kong? Isn't it considered a sub tropical region? It doesn't get below freezing there.
KinKy nice 👍
8:24 the models show up
Honestly, it always depends on the money you would like to spend. Difference in quality is little, in price is huge. I prefer Sigma and other lens for 900 dollars.
Your two models were "Amazing" !!!
The problem if you buy the Sigma lens, is that you will have to start saving to buy the Canon lens after.
WOW I wish someone would help me out So I can buy some things
Suparb , how much cost this lens . I m Indian
Soon as the 2 models showed up I forgot we were talking about lenses ;) Great video Kai!
This channel is now just a figment of what it was. Inconsistent video uploads despite having 1.95mill subs. Perhaps your online store is your main focus but come-on, take advantage of what you have, make the channel great again!
Colours are a little flat on the Sigma, but that's nothing Light room couldn't fix.
The Canon is sharper, but is it £900 sharper? I don't think so
Plus I'm a Nikon guy all the way so the L lens doesn't help me anyways
12:29, hilarious. Having spent time in China, sounds like a typical comment we Westerners would make at that very common site (squatting), although that's something that's more common out in the country, the rural farm areas.
I love these videos, this guy’s humour is spot on.
Love your reviews, i think you need to POP your cork more often.
Anybody small youtuber
Care for substosubs to grow our subscribers?
Just msg me then ill sub back!
Sir, why you didn't compare focus breathing at 200mm and show us which lens is real 200mm. In short this comparison is incomplete without testing focus breathing side by side. You have both lenses available still you miss that I didn't understand why?
The sigma is made for shooting sports images
When my OS is on, when I pick up my lens, rotate and even mildly shake, I hear a sound as if something inside is loose. Is this normal?
Sigma Sport best lens in all senses!!!
I don't like white lenses but I have to use Canon, so I choose Sigma telephotos...
do you have a test on how fast is sigma's autofocus? thanks
Sigma sport is not supposed to have focus breathing. Supposed to be right there with the Canon. Also sigma is supposed to be like a Carl Zeiss knockoff..
Has anybody tested it in low light conditions? specially the AF in a low light Football game for example? Thank you
Great video - keep up with the excellent comparisons , would be nice to see a few more real world examples + samples from outside ( ie bokeh & CA etc )
Im more set on getting the canon 70-200 f4L IS mk II instead. Smaller, lighter, and still Canon brand.
Thanks for the breathing test. What tele zoom would you recommend for video that does not breathe?
CVP... This is actually the name of the christian democratic party in Switzerland lol :D
Did you get a chance to test AF tracking speed and accuracy? I haven't found any comprehensive tests with the Sigma on this aspect.
I'd love to see a comparison between the APS-C Sigma ART50-100mm f/1.8 and the Sigma Sports70-200mm f/2.8 counterpart. Obviously they're for different sensor scales, but I'm interested in the extent to which they could obtain comparable results.
Focus breatging information is missleading!
Focus breathing is not what has been tested in this video.
Focus breathing is the change of focal length at close focus distances.
Both canon and sigma 70-200 lenses don't suffer from focus breathing. That's not the case with the tamron...
Great review of these two amazing lenses: short, precise, to the point. Thank you! You have a new subscriber
According to Dustin Abbott, the IQ of the Tamron G2 is pretty much equal, so given the considerable extra weight of the Sigma, I opted for the Tammy.
I got the sigma and producing some very good work
It's like Nikon doesn't exist!
Anyone uses this on a Nikon z6 (II)???
REAL WORLD REVIEW???????????? HAHHAHAHAHAa
I have an old Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8 AF-D NIKKOR ED. It's getting nervous!
Front facing lens rotates = Deal breaker Even the older Sigma APO version didn't rotate.
Hello bro, have you ever came across a very subtle front-focusing on the right-side of the frame(which can be adjust by slightly turns the focus ring) when adapting the sigma 70200 sport (firmware 1.01) on EosR(firmware 1.6.0)?
I'm thinking that'll look nice on my D850 😄
Would consider it to be fast enough for sports on a sony a7iii with the mc-11?
Sigma has covered the area upp to 300 f2.8 whith Sport zooms now, the 120-300 f2.8 is a very good performer! But they dont have a 12- 2.8 thats 12-24 f4 sp they have 14-24 f2.8, 24-70 f2.8, 70-200 f2.8 and 120-300 f2.8 AND 200-500 f2.8 even tho its not a sport lens! So this is e review that contains a lot of mistakes and can barely be called a review!
Dude bad review, i mean duh
just one question: "the performance at 200mm @ 2.8". Thats it. Dont review optics like a smartphone, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease. Sounds stupid.
A real world review doesn't take 2 minutes.
How does the Sigma 70200 Sport work on Canon EOS Rin video dual pixel continuous AF? On Sony, as you nicely demonstrated it doesn't work in video C-AF, but does it work on EOS R? Thank you so much.
This isn’t a review.. It was a waste of time
is this better than canon 70-200 2.8 IS ii?
This is not a review its just an advertisement
Where is focus speed
can this be used for nikon d5600?
Do you have confirmation that the Emount version WILL come out or is it just speculation at this point?
You speak very vey fast!! Not so good
sad to hear it focuses badly on sony
I need this for my Canon asap good video review
Do you want to WIN a camera? I'm giving away one right here WIN A CAMERA Mega FRO Giveaway https://froknowsphoto.com/megafro/
16:50 I actually like the sigma it's Boka looks nicer with a smooth roll-off were as the canon has a weird cut out looking thing around the woman in the background it looks awful and the woman in the foreground looks way more cut out and the border doesn't look pleasing at all
My experience with third party lenses is they never preform as good in the autofocus, never. Is saving a few hundred bucks worth missing shots? Nah
Hey Jared I know this is an old video but did you have OS on when shooting the action? If so at what shutterspeed would the OS be not worth having on?
I currently own the Sigma Sport and I absolutely love it!. I find it hard to believe that the Canon lens can produce better/sharper images. I think I might loan the Canon lens and try my own real life review
We don't care about Nikon...
Gief sigma for Sony...
So right now.. Someone is going to purchase a 70-200 for me..
I can get Canon, Sigma or Tamron.. doesn't matter..
Should I get Canon or Sigma? If I get the Sigma.. I don't get to spend the difference.. it's a purchase of the lens..
I am looking on purchasing a 70 - 200 my students I am looking for the best bang for my buck.
Canon, Tamron, Sigma.
It would be used primarily for sports.
Nie wiem co wybrać do portretów sportu i trochę wiecej. sigma 70 200 sport? czy sigma 135 1.8?
I made my decision for a few weeks for the Canon in via Amazon and the Canon winter sale and get for 1870 € compared to price of 2300€ in the Canon online store. And it’s a great lens! I really enjoy the photos made with this lens.
I always wondered what Rick Moranis would look like with a fro.
i cant believe this guy is still wearing this dumb t shirt
Pirate grad, 1983. Thanks, bro. I shot this last year at the ECU v Temple game with an 80-200, old school and I'm pleased with the results. I have no issue with my lens, but I'm leaning toward an upgrade to the Sigma 70-200 F2.8 Sports primarily because of the VR it offers and it's overall image quality:
I just bought the new Sigma to replace my old SIGMA which weighs in at 2lbs. 9oz. This new lens is a TANK! I don’t think I’ll keep it. It’s very unwieldy for the fast moving action of ice hockey. Now conflicted between this Canon lens or the RF Canon 70-200 as I’ve purchased and waiting for a CANON EOS R6 to arrive...Two concerns...price of the RF version ($2,700!) and the extending lens when zooming. It’s great to have in the bag to make it easier to carry, but often I have to take photos from behind the glass at games and use a rubber hood to press against the glass. If my lens is extending and retracting all the time, I’ll have to wear rollerblades to keep moving since I don’t want to push through the glass! So, I think I may have answered my own question..get the EF lens with the adapter and have fun.
THIS COMPARISON MUST BE DONE AGAIN, BUT WITH A NEWER SENSOR.
THIS COMPARISON MUST BE DONE AGAIN, BUT WITH A NEWER SENSOR.
You did bernie sanders thing you put a finger in the air while looking away
