Hahaha Fn good mate
This lens has only issue. There is no K mount version available.
"How un-asian" That got me lmao
Sigma and tamron... Give me a 17-200 1.8
How very unAsian 🤣
I ordered lens here It arrives in a couple of days I'm very excited https://frstklick.blogspot.com/2020/06/6-best-only-nikon-dx-lenses-of-2020.html

Is it compatible with Canon 80D and 6D Markll? Thanks
Dude...you're the best reviewer I've ever seen.
Canon 5DMkIII with Canon logos blacked out and Nikon strap put on...what kind of witchery is this?
i looked at that lens and fell in love with it but then i noticed its not meant for ff..... big bummer
Calls sigma the Daihatsu of lenses, Daihatsu was bought by Toyota and basically manufactures all engines for them, and a lot of other brands because they were known to not break ever and get crazy things out of their engines 😂🤦
Dumbest focal length ever
This is the most frustrating and willingly destroying video I´ve ever seen.
that bokeh on the canon 50mm though~
No IS gtfo
They should have made it a 50-135 F2.8 VR, which in FF is 75-202.5mm
Moron.
Great Video! I have an APS-C Body (Nikon D5300) and I'm struggling between the Tamron G2 which performs well even on a Crop sensor Body or the Sigma 50-100 f1.8 Art which is built for Crop Sensor Bodies :( It's like Decent Sharpness+Longer Reach(Crop Factor:1.5x)+Beastly IS (Tamron) vs. Extremely Sharp+Shorter but Decent Reach+No IS+Faster Opening Aperture(Sigma). Probably will not upgrade my APS-C Body in 2-3 Years. Would appreciate any advice in my situation :) Thank you very much for your time!
With APSC lenses this sharp, having microfocus adjustment in the lense is vital. Most crop cameras don't have that adjustment built in.
How to shooting camera body
Bonjour c’est ou cette endroit? Quelqu’un connais? Merci, belle video malgré que je ne comprends pas l’anglais

Would this lens be fast enough for indoor sports?
It's a great lens but to my experience this lens has a back and front focusing bug.
Perfect lens, if it had os.
Should I get this or a Nikon 16-800mm for my next lens?
Sweet
Great Video! Hi, is this good with D3200. I'm thinking to buy this or upgrade my D3200 to D610 and buy Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 VC. I'm after its image stabilization capabilities that the sigma 50-100mm doesn't have. So the question is, is this sharp even if a little bit shaky?
Nice review
I begin to have regrets buying the sigma 24 105 f4 for FF because on an apsc sensor, impossible to use it for filming in low light. I choose it because of the IS but it doesn’t work as great as i was expecting. Nice review really nice family photos Grüße aus Frankreich 🇫🇷
Hey thanks for the great review ..... But I want to see full body shots of the people at 100mm f1.8 ..... I want to see the depth of field.
Hey, great review. How about using this lens for concertphotography on my D7100? Is it terrible, great, average? Do you reccomend it for this purpose?
I have this lens on a D7200 but I am not happy with it's sharpness. The autofocus doesn't look to be doing a proper job. I have also calibrated the lens at it's various focal lengths and distances, having to say that when I focus manually, the image becomes tack sharp.
And what monopod do you use ? have you got a link or advice for this ?
Hi, is this lens good for weddings? Thanks!
does it work for Sony A mount
This feels like a good lens for street photography.
Use clear image zoom on full frame for the iris.
I think I could live with those disadvantages.
I just bought this lens. It is heavy, that's true but the image sharpnes recompensates its weight. In my opinion is very well built and focus and zoom rings are amazing in comparison to my older lenses - they works so smoothly and precisely. It is worth of buying.
Anyone know what would be the closest match if I want Image Stabilisation? (im on a nikon d500)
every picture looks good with this lens, even if the subject is not even interesting, the bokeh makes everything perfect xD

I'm starting in photography imgs.love/zSigma?Cすs for me the lens met my expectations, the 2.8 aperture can be used from 17 to 50. The images I have taken seem correct and I fit very well on my nikon D5600.
Do you know if this will work on a full frame camera just like its smaller bother the Sigma 18 to 35 1.8? And at what mm will the vignetting disapper?
Possible you can review this on the 90D? I feel like I’d do much better on that.
Would've been a sweet lens if it was a 35-85 lens. A focal range beginning at a 56mil equiv, and ending at 136 would've been much more useful than one starting at 80 and ending at 160. Not to mention it'd be a great complement to the 18-35.
ouff, thx for the review, after the first 2 minutes, its a No Go for me lol ! Thx !
Anybody knows a comparable telephoto zoomlens with IS?
Is this lens too big? Bigger than 70-200 2.8?
I'm so late watching this. But buying it today so thanks.
Blessed to have you for expensive lenses reviews.... Thanks bro
On the subject of tripod plate problem, you can alleviate it by placing something (like a rubber washer) between the screw and the tripod foot of the lens. You say that the hole is "not deep enough", but from the lens photos it seems to entirely pass through to the other side of the tripod foot?
Wow, this could be a perfect travel lens for my needs. Good review! I think people are overly obsessed with image stabilization. Who needs it at f1.8 anyway?
wow !!! thats alot of money for a lens with no image stabaization ....
Chris would still get the vignetting using the Canon EOS 1D MK3 which has a crop of 1.3?
⭐ Get the Sigma 50-100 f/1.8 on Amazon http://help.tc/s100 ⭐
The eos m6 mk2 uses this lens perfectly.. both in resolution and af
Many proff use manual focus with this lense.
hi! Will it work fine on a FS7?
Look back at this review , looks like the Canon 90D will get the most out of this lens !
Canon and Nikon need to put out APS-C bodies with IBIS. It's getting embarrassing at this point. Fuji and Sony have them, why not Canon and Nikon? I've been thinking about the Canon version of this lens to complement my Sigma 18-35 f1.8 with a Viltrox EF-M2 speedbooster on Micro Four Thirds. My Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II can autofocus very well with the 18-35. The speedbooster makes this an f1.2 lens on Micro Four Thirds...f2.4 equivalent in full frame. Not bad at all.
I have that lens and the D7200 and D500 (now Z6II). I used that lens for shoots quite a bit. On the D7200 it indeed had focus problems, but on the D500 with AF fine tuning those were practically gone. I have to admit: focus tends to hunt, especially in low light situations. Not all the time, but occasionally. On the Z6II it's a breeze. But then again, putting this lens on an FX body is a bit... redundant to the full frame sensor itself. The focussing issues I partially recognize. On the D7200 it was a bit tricky but I did some decent shoots with it. On the D500 it was a lot better but suffered from front focus. Those problems were solved when using the AF fine tuning option in that camera. On the Z6II the focus is quicker than on the other two bodies and there are no issues. It tends to snap into place (not as fast as my 70-200mm f/2.8E FL but there's only one lens faster than that and that's the S-line version of that one). All in all: in its focal length range and with that fixed aperture I'm glad I didn't get rid of it straight away (I have been on the fence about it). It's still is a lens I would use and choose for certain shoots. I also find it's still a great lens on my (now calibrated) D500 for when I need that little extra reach the crop body is offering, especially in low light situations like weddings, events and concerts, it's there with me. Not unhappy with it, but yes: there are lenses that are better at focussing and don't suffer as much from back or front focus issues. That last thing mainly had to do with the fact that quality control at Sigma isn't as good as Nikons or Canons. The margin for error is slightly bigger than with the established brands. I read different reviews and talk to different people owning this lens and the stories about it tend to vary a greater deal than I had with my native Nikon lenses. Those are far more consistent in terms of quality and general performance among different copies of the same lens.
This and the 18-35 have serious autofocus problems on DSLRs through live view, but not on mirrorless cameras. For that reason I wouldn't recommend either for a DSLR, but on mirrorless they're unparalled
I’m using this with my 90d and it’s pretty sharp and clean. F1.8 photos look sharp even when zoomed to 400%. No focusing issues when shooting handheld with shutter speeds lower than 1/40. I never miss focus while using liveview, I will try with a viewfinder and update my review
2020 and this lens still has no alternative on any APSC System.
will I benefit from that lens on Nikon Z6 with FZ adapter ? anyone ? thx !
Will the usb adapter fix the focusing problems?
Who's the babe at 0:07?
Will it work on canon t2i?
It’s August 2020. Do you think the USB adapter and software can fix those issues?
you say the lens is ahead of its time like its a bad thing:P I would expect a $1200 lens to be out performing my $600 amateur hour aps-c body. Anyway, sounds like a solid lens for the coming mirrorless world.
Hi Tony, Regarding the focus issue. Almost 4 years passed since your review. Are you aware if sigma fixed it?
3:31 the 90d is out now with
Did the focus issues got fixed yet? :)
Now there is the 32 MP 90D and this lens became very interesting.
