Hi. Do you know how to connect the receiver of a "Sennheiser ew 112-p G3" wireless microphone system to a computer via USB? I bought that wireless mic system for a camera but I also want to use it for Zoom meetings on my computer. I don't have an audio input jack on my computer, or at least not that I'm aware of. I have a headphone jack. If this info helps analyze the question, my laptop computer is the HP ProBook 455 G3.
Hi! Are you using the scarlett software? Is it necessary to have it? When i was using without it, i had no issues with volume but after installing it, volume got too low. Not sure whats the best buffer size for it. And also, i’m getting a lot of white noise. I have the volume to 85 on windows setting. Thanks for responding! Subbed!

Love your videos dude 😍 I have one of these microphones and obviously a Shure SM58 to go with it and I personally think it is a very good microphone with very good "bang for buck" appeal but like yourself I did notice that "top end sizzle" you mention and it can get a little "scratchy on the ears" but still very tempting for someone on a budget, one thing I would mention is the replacement metal grilles for this model are not that easy to source when compared to the replacements for the SM58's if you live in the UK as I do they are incredibly difficult to source unless you want to pay a hefty shipping fee from abroad, when compared to replacements for the SM58 which you can buy in almost any music store so if anyone wants one of these all I can suggest is for goodness sake DO NOT DROP IT! or you will have to put up with a dented grille because the replacement grilles are different to the SM58 as they have a retaining lip on the inside to hold the microphone cartridge in the body, the same principle as the Shure 565 SD model

Does this mic give a usable output with the audiobox 96?
I have this feeding into a yamaha mixer with a wind sock. With the gain set to max and Level. I get peak -6 but a constant -12. This kinda sucks for online communications. I am going to add sE dynamite preamp. I know this would be no problem for DAWS to handle.
My pizzazz pizza oven dinged when you smashed the sticker. I've watched this review before and I was like "I don't remember a little bell sound when he kills the stickers..." Anyway, pizza rolls are ready.

I bought one of the Shure SM48's wired it up for my Yaesu FT-2000 ham radio and mounted it on a desk boom and a foot switch for keying the radio. I can tell you this thing rocks! I consistently get comments on how good my audio is. Next on the list is wiring up my vintage 1953 model Shure 55s for the radio and see how it compares. Can't beat a Shure microphone. KE0SJQ
There is only a slight difference in sound quality between the 58 and 48 and that difference to me is not worth and extra 60$
I've had this mic for a year and it is a backup or "on the go" mic for me. With some EQ it can sound quite good BUT NOT HANDHELD. The handling noise is horrific. If you can EQ and put on a stand...it's worth it. But I wish I'd bought my SM58 sooner.

Bought a Fender Acoustasonic 15W Guitar Combo Amp...for the XLR connection bought an Adapter...somehow the JVC 600 ohms Mic. only works via the XLR and not Directly with the 1/4 inch jack? Why? Guitar works Directly and also when plugged in the XLR?

hmmm interesting, I kids and I find it hard to record when I'm home. I tried everything, I can still hear them sometimes, so I have to manually clean the audio, super time consuming. Is there more mics like this that will only pick out sound from close? :D

I know this is old and I admittedly haven't watched any of your other videos, but if you still do the keyboard test the same as this you should change it to two parts, one with the mic pointed at the keyboard so people know how loud it is compared to your speaking voice and then one with it pointed at you as it normally would be. Thanks for the video, it helped me determine between the two.

SM48 isn't good for loud vocals, peopel. If you consider purchasing it for singing and you hit high notes, I think SM58 is way too better!

sm 48 has just a bit more muddiness but that can be fixed easy with just eq

I'm in the SM58 fan club... As a podcast mic... I think it sounds nice and full, with a decent low end response and still some brightness with minimal eq. When coupled with the Shure A81WS Wind sock, it's very plosive friendly, but very susceptible to shock (table noise) if you don't shock mount it. Thanks for the review!

i think that the sm48 has a crispier, bassier sound. i really like it and prefer it to the sm58

the 5 has more mids, the 48 is closer to a V shape or mid scooped sound

I ran karaoke shows, DJ'd and sang in bands for 20+ years I have the same 2 SM48s that I started with and they were used when I bought them. There are a couple dents in em but they still work the same as ever.
