Pretty stupid comparison. I only use my backpack for solid floors. My uprights clean carpets much better. Proteam for the floors, royal commercial 18inch metal upright. Also who uses a damn dyson in a commercial setting? They are horrible worthless overpriced vacs.

I do prefer the backpack but for the naysayers, you forgot to include the time it takes to put the backpack vacuum on. That is one of their arguments is the time/hassle of putting it on/off. The other being their belief that the beater bar is a necessary tool to get items stuck in the carpet fibers up.
