Great review. Thank you.
How do u know when it's fully charged
headset sucks, static all the time.
Can you use your own 3.5mm jack cable or is the one thes comes with the base permanrntly mounted?
I have an old RS130 which has decent sound and works well honestly. The real issue to consider and it seems the same there is that the jack cable is built in the transmitter so if for any reason you have a small cut on the cable, you can say goodbye to your whole setting. I have had two RS130, the first cable broke too much to be usable. My last one still works after 15 years but I have again a small cut. It works but I have to turn the cable in a certain angle else the sound is pretty broken. I purchased so a RS175 plus HDR185 in order to have separated cables to change them in case of a problem. In my opinion, if they build a cable into the whole transmitter like in RS120 and 130 they should provide a thicker cable to protect the actual metal
For the « static » and noise, my tip is to put the volume at the maximum level on your device THEN reduce the level on the headset. From my experience it reduces both noise and pretty much annihilates disconnection issues
19khz, missing top end?!?!?! Really.............. you can't hear anything above about 10k, and even then that's called "air" as they're non-indentifiable frequencies!
The charging base does not light up.
I think they are very very uncomfortable, I suffered real physical pain from using them. I bought replacement ear pads from the bay and they are fantastic they manage to cover the ear instead of pressing against it. I also had a lot of interference, I tracked this down to my router or my cell phone. I moved the phone and set the router channel to auto and that solved my issue. Given that I bought them on the cheap, less than half, then I would say they are good at that price. I would not pay 100 quid for them. The replacement ear pads really are a must unless you enjoy torture.
Congratulations: your explanationa was very... very good and clear. You have a nice voice.
This is the headphones they use at CERN in Geneva for one of their 3D presentations
Would be cool if now that it's 2019 they made a Bluetooth version with the bass still so you can have the best of both worlds
Do these have a microphone?
Are these Bluetooth? Can I connect them to my smart tv?
Is it possible for the handset to be used separately in the transmitter?
rs120 are absolutely without a doubt the worst headphones ever! the sound quality is terrible, Their is always a static and yes I did tune it and their is still a loud annoying static, my ears do get warm, no bass, and terrible build quality, who was the idiot to build these! I bought them and it was the worse mistake of my life, everyone said they where special but did you know they only leave nice remarks about the headphone cause they are sponsering their product! yea and they are making money off of it, if you like bass, music, design, or anything in a headphone dont buy these. i would reccomend a doller tree pair of headphones.
I just bought these headphones and have the same issue, the static when program is paused or stopped is dreadful. Easy solution is to push to off button on the left side and turn it back on again when ready to resume program. Annoying extra step but better than that awful sound. These should have been recalled not sold.
Does it fills your ears with painful static if no sound activity for 2 minutes? RS 120 (previous version) does that shit.
Is this headphone voice isolation?
You sound soo familiar>>Moss from IT Crowd eh?? xD xD
Can these connect to my phone?
Can you use headphones from Sennheiser TR120 with new RS120 II?
i keep hearing a popping sound like sos signals. Any ideas?
The eat ups are fully closed tho I’ve never tried headphones like that
Hi! Great review! How do I use these with my laptop?
Your video is much appreciated. I suggest that you comment on my biggest issue. The Model 120, which I have tends to fall off. I am the family cook and I listen to my phones every night while I am cooking. If I bend a little too much or do anything that allows gravity to do its thing they fall off. Adjustment makes no difference they seem determined to get off my head at every little opportunity. Are there solutions you know of?
6 years later and these are still 200 aud 😑
Great review...but I got distracted. Where did you get those awesome bookends?
I have use them for many years. The ear pads have become thinner, but once i adjust the headphone to my head I can use them all day long.
What is the latency? I read on Sennheiser last website that these are 1ms which is incredible. Is that true?
Very well done! Thx a lot!
The two best things about these headphones are the volume roller and the off switch. 1) Changing volume with a roller is vastly superior to a button, especially when the volume is split between two buttons that are in the same area as the power off/on button. One of the Sennheisers does this and it is famously annoying. 2) The off switch can be used as an instant mute! Nothing better than eliminating the noise of annoying commercials or overly loud YouTube segments with the flick of a switch. Long-push buttons are idiotic for mute (when mute is available) and for volume as well. DON'T LET THE MARKETING DEPARTMENT DESIGN PRODUCTS!!!
Excellent review. I have bought these particular headphones and am more than delighted. The time out hiss is annoying and tuning a bit fiddly, but the sound is nicely balanced and enjoyable. I owned the much more expensive rs 140(??)
Anyway, the sound was OK, but the press button controls were tricky to locate, and the plastic covered ear pads were poor quality and liable to tear and disintegrate.
Very disappointing considering the price difference.
Hey don’t you show exactly how the receiver/transmitter is wired and where it is plugged in.
I newly bought seennheiser HDR 127,I even regretted of buying it, nothing like bass, only the solution is to download music player with bass booster, I'm really disappointed I should have even buy pioneer headphone rather, scrap
Noticed that you do not have the headsets on headband evenly extended. One headset (my left) is all the way into the band the other (my right) appears to be two clicks out. This might help explain some of that discomfort
Lmao guys only use it with your phone if you want to carry all these f-ing cables and a huge ass transmitter everywhere you go.
Could never get a Bluetooth signal from the POS headphones.
Wait these work on phones right
I was expecting a review of how they sound, Bass, Mids, Highs etc. I'm not overly concerned about how they "...look next to the telly". That's a side issue. You owe me 9 minuets.
Mine are #CHARGING 🔌for 24 hours just got My #SENNHEISER #RS120II ‘s on #3”2021FEB24!!
Maybe this should be retitled to just 'unboxing video'. Very misleading. Especially given that at no point are they actually tried out despite saying during the video that you'll be testing the claims on the box?! So glad I wasted 10 minutes watching someone read a box to me.
Looking forward to HAVING it, like you show here. Then I'll be looking for a video that actually USES and TESTS the product... ...
Hello! How do you conect this headphones to the playstation? Is it directly connected to TV or to the same playstation console?
What you said I knew that thank you ,you should have plugged them in and show where they go in ,that’s what I want to know
*_I bought my friend these and we both LOVE them◈.◈>_**_JustU.Faith/SennheiserRS?誕_**_ especially for the price. My friend has a hard time understanding British accents on TV, but when he uses the headphones, they really clear up the language! However, I bought one for my friends and they have a smart TV. They cannot figure out how to use the headphones without muting the whole system, though._*
You're doing a review where you say "the best headphones for TV listening" and don't even plug them to the TV to test how they sound??
Anything WIRELESS is a form of a radio frequency RADIATION which is not GOOD for YOU so stay away from wireless headphones
no optical audio in?
Hi, nice video. I was wondering about latency... Using these with electronic drums. So do you know if there is latency/lag with those headphone?
Since you uploaded this has it still been working good mate. Does the longevity seem good
Can you connect it somehow to your guitar amp ?
is it good for music listening on pc?
