comparing your review with logitech h390 and with this headset. Senn did far better than Logi, but still you gave better review for logi. Maybe because it was reviewed on 2016 or maybe because of the ref fee....

This may be a silly question but, I just bought this headset (and it seems not bad so far) but as a new user, shouldn't I be hearing myself on the headphones while I'm recording my voice in a recording app? Or is it because it's a USB and with the headphones so close, it could create feedback? I'd appreciate any help. Cheers.

To be honest, this thing sounds really good for stuff like teams, zoom etc. One of my colleagues presented alongside others with this headset and the quality really stood out. So much that I only for this reason landed on this review.
Would be good to mention it is not plug and play but needs to be selected through Sound in Systems Preferences on Macbook Pro. Not sure about other systems. Sound isn't that bad for listening.

Thanks for the video... Many years since I stopped buying Sennheiser... It´s a piece of junk in my opinion.
Just a remark on the build quality: surprisingly robust, I've been using it for over a year traveling with nothing to protect it but a plastic zip bag and it's been coping just fine. I do not have any issues with sound, for teleconferencing you don't need anything more fancy.
For video calls (video conferences) it's OK. I'm not gonna watch movies or listen to music in these. These are also so light. I can wear them all day long.
I'm using one at workplace for 3 years and another one for over a year at home, it has a clear sound for microphone, and sound GREAT compared to anything in this pricerange, and it has usb. Have you tried logitech, which is the only competitor here? The logitech foams tear off, the band breaks, they sound awful also microphone is worse for around the same price. Might feel like a cheap construction but it lasts, and as you said it's super lightweight. Let's not compare it to 80-100 usd around-ear headphones, this meant for something else. I also use it for gaming and 3d positioning is easy with it. You didn't compare it to anything you just kept on bashing it :)
For office and web calling use they are perfect. Probably not so much for your Call of Minecraft games or whatever it is you play, but it's horses for courses.
I have been using my PC8 headset very intensively for 3 years now when gaming (The Division 1, The Division 2). I replaced the foam pads twice. So the quality is right and the sound (at least for gaming) too.
I have been looking for a replacement of this very headset. Cheaply made but works like a boss in terms of mic quality. They last a few years I went through like 2 of them. On average it lasts about 2 years with everyday usage.

Света добавь, когда снимаешь, ничего не видно. Особенно черные наушнике в темноте.

It does not have mute option. It has mic turn off switch. Even volume control is a analog control and does not reflect in pc
