Hi Jim. Great review - I loved your leather moment. At the end you compare the three headphones for sound when watching movies. However, I found it odd that you didn't go into the latency of each compared to one another. On paper the Sennheisers should have the least noticeable audio lag as they sport the aptX Low Latency codec - the other two do not. What say you?

In my experience, the Bose is more comfortable and lighter to wear than the momentum. Also, noise cancelling is better. The same goes for the Sony, which has better bass than the Bose. When it comes to sound quality, the Sennheiser is better than both, by quite some distance. Much wider soundscape, and although maybe it is not as bass heavy as the Sony, you FEEL the bass a lot more. So when sound experience is your number 1 priority, go for the Sennheiser
So As a Sony XM3 owner,I bought Sennheiser M3 to compare because I realised reviewers have different opinions.Sennheiser without any doubt has better bass and a little better sound quality than Sony XM3.but Sony has much better noise cancellation and longer batter life.Sennheiser also much better build quality,feels nice and premium and Sony feels very cheap and plasticky in comparison.I keep the Sennheisers and will sell the Sony.sound quality matters most for me.

For the gimmick of noise cancelling you get shit sound. Why don't they just make a model with no noise cancelling and audiophile quality sound with Bluetooth.

These are really very uncomfortable for premium headphones. The sound quality is impressive for closed back / bluetooth, but the sound stage is limited. There is very little leakage and anc is fine indoors. But I cannot recommend them for prolonged listening. Poor comfort distracts from sound performance.
I cant bring myself to wear animal leather, so these are a no-go for me.

Why would you buy this over Sony or Bose? Sound quality of course. I use mine with a full EQ over USB Audio Player Pro. The default sound is too bassy. I returned the Sonys faster than I could read the model name.Your review is like you are comparing 100$ speakers with some 20k$ focals and say that the build quality makes the difference.
Vegan leather alternative? Vegans have the option to go to buy another brand and piss off if they don't like it.
This is a outstanding video, thank you for your production. Today I got XM3, and the sound quality was "significantly" worse than my 5 year old Sennheiser Momentum On Ear first generation one. Now I am quite confused by watching videos how people mention that XM3 is good. For me it is not, at all, comparable with Sennheiser Momentum On Ear. Do you really find the sound quality of XM3 and Momentum 3 similar?
I'm just going to be honest, the noise cancelling isnt quite as good as my QC 35ii, but much better than the sennheiser pxc 550ii. And the sound is better than the Bose, but not that much better than the 550ii. The app works much better with the momentum 3 than the 550ii and you don't have to pause to go to switch between two different sources. The eq is better also. But calls on the Bose are better imo. Overall I got the momentum 3 for the sound, and it is bass heavy. I need one headphone that is, and I'm sticking with it.

Returned bassy and overall dissapointing for me Sony WH-1000XM3 and ordered M3. I'm pleased with cable oldies HD650 and I hope they will be something similary to them not expecting so good.
How frequently does Sennhieser update their headphone lines? Would a Momentum4 within the next couple of months be out of the question? Love your vids.

These are very very very good lite weight comfortable loud sounds better or as good as momentum true wireless earbuds u won't be mad after u listen to them get them from best buy for 200.00 us dollars or Amazon maybe. ALSO BATTERY LIFE IS 6 HOURS

These earphones are joke.Sound quality was not as good, build quality is terrible and they were too heavy to walk or run.Speakers casings fell apart in matter of months.What a joke!I keep my MM50,MM70 and keep repairing them as long as I can.Sennheiser should continue with MM serie as they were great.

These are great. But youre wearing them wrong. For best sound (especially bass) you need to put them in, then twist them up into your ear canal. The difference in sound is night and day.
