To be honest, this thing sounds really good for stuff like teams, zoom etc. One of my colleagues presented alongside others with this headset and the quality really stood out. So much that I only for this reason landed on this review.
Would be good to mention it is not plug and play but needs to be selected through Sound in Systems Preferences on Macbook Pro. Not sure about other systems. Sound isn't that bad for listening.

Thanks for the video... Many years since I stopped buying Sennheiser... It´s a piece of junk in my opinion.
Just a remark on the build quality: surprisingly robust, I've been using it for over a year traveling with nothing to protect it but a plastic zip bag and it's been coping just fine. I do not have any issues with sound, for teleconferencing you don't need anything more fancy.
For video calls (video conferences) it's OK. I'm not gonna watch movies or listen to music in these. These are also so light. I can wear them all day long.
I'm using one at workplace for 3 years and another one for over a year at home, it has a clear sound for microphone, and sound GREAT compared to anything in this pricerange, and it has usb. Have you tried logitech, which is the only competitor here? The logitech foams tear off, the band breaks, they sound awful also microphone is worse for around the same price. Might feel like a cheap construction but it lasts, and as you said it's super lightweight. Let's not compare it to 80-100 usd around-ear headphones, this meant for something else. I also use it for gaming and 3d positioning is easy with it. You didn't compare it to anything you just kept on bashing it :)
For office and web calling use they are perfect. Probably not so much for your Call of Minecraft games or whatever it is you play, but it's horses for courses.
I have been using my PC8 headset very intensively for 3 years now when gaming (The Division 1, The Division 2). I replaced the foam pads twice. So the quality is right and the sound (at least for gaming) too.
I have been looking for a replacement of this very headset. Cheaply made but works like a boss in terms of mic quality. They last a few years I went through like 2 of them. On average it lasts about 2 years with everyday usage.
The mic is not that bad for the price of the whole thing. Getting a headset with a better mic at that price point is probably a challenge.
Here in Germany they're still available. I'm thinking of using them to dictate with Dragon Naturally Speaking. They should be good enough for that.
I had this for about 2 years, daily use for office chat, not for music. I love the audio quality and adjustable volume! So much better than many company issued headsets.

What's the best wired Noise Cancelling Mic headset right now? We've tested a lot and I mean a lot of these headsets but seems to get overpowered when there's more than 3 people in the room talking at the same time.

Dang the Engage 75 had the best noise cancellation but the SDW 5016 mic was the clearest and strongest.

I know this sound crazy or stupid but can you test it with babies or kids on the background most especially if kids are crying out loud or shouting. I'm working from home actually and got kids and this is one of my biggest problems. Hoping the Jabra will nail it.
