Thanks for the giveaway! I like how tiny the hard drive is when compared to the pictures online. It really helps when you compare the size with other stuff. They can fit right in the pocket on the go. Love it for that. And the free subscription that comes with it is a major bonus. I love photoshop editing.

Can I use this SSD with the tab? The tab has USB 2.0 Type C port. Will I need an OTG to connect the two? And if it is possible, then can the tab read the contents on the SSD, and write from it? My tab has a 7040mah battery, so will it be able to supply power to the SSD for running? Had a t5 as external cache disk that works fine, with a new computer thus usb ports i bought a T7 to replace the t5 cache disk for video editing/After effects. Well it was a disaster, it might be a faulty drive, but it overheated very fast ( minutes of writing/reading), follow by freezing and continuing after a cooling period. Eventually, after minimal use, 1 hour after my purchase it failed completely, and had a total data loss ( at least as windows could see, is not the case but it was corrupted somehow). As depicted, have the t5 and that works fine, and doesn't throttle noticeably. My experience could be bad luck with a faulty unit, but I would check around if more users are having this before buying.. Its slim, but at a high price.. No conflict of interest.

All SSDs mentioned are non recoverable for the time being, if you own one of these SSDs make sure you make a full backup as any trouble with these ssd, the data will be able to be recovered due to the company built in encryption.
The Sandisk Extreme Pro is 40% more costly than the Samsung T7 (Normal not touch) for 500gb. Should I go for the T7 then?
