This drive that I had stopped working. I had other people tell me that there harddrive also stopped working after 3-6 months after they got it. Mine lasted 10 months before it stopped working. After this hard drive fails all game data on it will be lost. In the long run I'd recommend getting a harddrive from a different brand then this one. The Seagate brand seams to be the wrong choice as I found out the hard way :(

I want soon to get a 4tb hardrive for my ps4 pro and I'm considering getting the 4tb one from Seagate should I ? Or should I get other brand ? because I want a hard drive that will last a few good years or more. Which one you recommend ?

Okay so i just bought a new ps4 i have most of my applications on my External hard drive would i just be able to use the external hardrive on the new ps4 or would i have to transfer everything back to the old ps4 and transfer everything back to the old ps4 and finally transfer everything to the new one

How is the state of your hardrive currently? I have heard some stories that this hard drives tend to fail after a couple of months.
I just bought witcher 3 for like 12 bucks the other night (five years after it came out I know) and was having that pesky loading trouble even in conversations. It was frustrating. Then I went and bought this game drive so I could store more games the next day and started playing witcher 3 and it fixed it! Kinda funny cuz I didn't buy it thinking it would do this guess I just got lucky and killed two birds with one stone lol

Does external HDD suffer from hiccups like audio lag or skip?I have a Seagate 4TB Slim and it exhibits audio and video stutters when playing games from it. It is especially noticeable during cut scenes (CGI videos). When I transfer the games back to internal, all is normal.

The downside I think is the cable, if your not careful with the external hard drive and the cable is always cramped or bent, data transmission will be compramised in the long run.
