HELP! I have a Seagate GoFlex Desk Adaptor 1TB External HD. It seems to be doing everything it's supposed to do i.e. backing up all my files automatically every time I power up my PC. BUT. I have no idea how to access these backed up files on the unit. Another question. If I delete something from my hard drive on the PC is the same file deleted from the Seagate? Can someone help me out here please, and yes, I'm computer illiterate. sorry!
After you format it to HFS can it be later used to read/write Windows files or only Mac files? Please respond. I want to use it for both

I've tried to get support also from Seagate Facebook but no way, no solution from them, by the way I didn't heat it I didn't crash it or make it fall down, no water or liquids were near it, so why it got like that, I left it on my laptop downloading and when I came back it was clicking, every time I connect it it strat clicking then sleep mode showing in the taskbar and computer management but not in my computer, and non of recovery programs got it, is that fair? I type this for the others
I've bought Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 3 TB and I've got very disturbed couse after 1 year I've put some of my important data on it, it starts clicking and since 2 months not able to recover the data,people tell its under warranty replace it! then, what about my data which much more important to me than the hard itself, the data recovery shops asking so high precise and also I've some private data about my work I don't trust they will copy them, 2 mistakes i've done: 1- no backup 2- trust Seagate

I Write to NTFS on my mac all the time. its the format all my external hard drives are. you cant put HD movies on fat 32 its a useless format. I have mac and windows an use both alot and put files on both with one hard drive. so thats the only format that works for me.

I have this hard drive. You don't have to use that weird USB 3.0 connector. You can also use a micro usb. Just plug it in there it should fit and it should work as normally
this is a universal USB3.0 connector. that's not proprietary

No offense, but I was looking for actual feedback for the item your vid states in it's title which is why I sat through this at all. isn't this just an ad for that website you keep plugging in the vid? Otherwise it has nothing relevant at all to say about the item you list in the title to get people to view the vid. Getting hits like this way only hurts whatever you're trying to accomplish. you lose credibility along with whatever "sponser" it is you're trying to promote
