I have to make correction to my comments: When I did my video I didn't connect this Hard Drive directly to USB post on my PC but to my USB HUB. When I connected it directly to USB 3.0 Ports on my PC transfer rate was more then 150MB/s which is 5 times faster then when connected to USB HUB. I'm sorry for incorrect info in my original clip. This HD is really fast when connected directly to PC.

I have also this HD and if your data transfer rate is uneven (as your video showing) then you have to formate your P C or check Chipset driver because whenever I update my motherboard cheapest driver my both Seagate Desktop External HD and WD My Book speed reduce.

What is the model number of 8TB you're reviewing , STEL8000100 or STEL8000300 ??? Newer models of Seagate backup plus 8TB comes with inferior Archive drives (SMR Tech) which has write speed of less than 50 MB/s.

sir mene aaj hi amazon se ye hard drive receive ki hai. mera motherboard "Intel DX79TO 2nd Gen" hai 3.0 usb mein ye show nahi ho rahi, but led light show ho rahi hai 2.0 usb works fine. But mera ek or pc hai usme ye thik work kar rahi hai 3.0 mein bhi. Mene driver bhi update karke dekh lie but shoe nahi ho rahi. or same port mein pendrive or other hdd 3.0 mein thik work kar rahi hai kya issue ho sakta hai pls help
