I bought one of these years ago but it broke. I purchased another one, 4G for a little more than the one I bought years ago. What I like is the fact that you can add a micro sd card for added memory. I purchased a 64GB card off Ebay for $12.00 so I can transfer all my Audible books and music. Another nice feature is that you can transfer all your music CD'S to this device. I highly recommend it!! Will be frozen...some time sooon.. It has nice sound. Sadly mine was broken and its now very expensive in amazon etc. I just got one of these from my grandma, this was a great video 👍 You know what triggers me? The fact that this tiny mp3 player has a headphone jack and mini USB port, but phones nowadays (when I commented this) don't even have a headphone jack while the screens are getting bigger. But does it have gapless playback? is there a way to download your music from your internal storage to your external storage what format of music does it use Can u play music faster or slower too? Humm... I don't remember having a SD card slot on mine, I just used a USB cable when I used it, but I just did that to charge, my dad was the one who transferred the files way back when... Honest, this was one of the *BEST* things I *EVER* got for my birthday all of those years ago, as a kid, I rode in the car, and clipped it onto the handle at the roof, so that the radio could work, and I could listen to what I wanted and how loud I wanted, and I could record the radio to listen later, and add my own music to it (but I never did that last one, I think my dad used iTunes to do that for me...). I would recommend that to anyone, that is, if I could time travel back to when they were sold... :) I have had mine for a LONG time. I never used it until now... It said it was Christmas lol they are good but they dont last to long i had own 2 they died the same way screen bat simply die and thats it i agree! best ...better than shuffle............... o meu mp3 e igual a esse mais ele nao liga so fica com a cor azul nos butoes after few months of use with no problem mine suddenly says "connect device and recover corrupted FAT"...i've connected it to Macbook Air but it didn't recover...what now? Can I use my Bluetooth headset with is? do they sell this mp3 player anymore? i can't find it anywhere, all I can find is Ipod. Thank you Richard, I finally got it and I yes, it has a fm radio recorder but I started recording a two hour live program in the radio and it only recorded half an hour, it seems like it stopped recording or something, I was in my classroom so I left it recording and put it aside and when I checked two hours later, I realized it only recorded 30 minutes. Any ideas? The battery was fully charged and it was still on, I mean, it didn't turn off or anything, it jus stopped recording. Hello Richard, I loved you review of the Sansa Clip mp3 player and I want to buy it because it has the fm radio recording feature but I clicked on the link you posted to buy it through Amazon and the seller told me it does NOT have the feature to record fm music directly from the device. They say it can only record from another device which makes no sense. Can you reconfirm please? *_ВНИМАНИЕ!!! Куплю подержанный плеер SANDISK SANSA CLIP zip или SANSA CLIP +!!! ЗВОНИТЕ!!! 905 526 38 30. Москва._* does it view music by the folders you put them in? you are pretty. Call Me. Thank you. You provided an overview of the timer yet strangely did not provide ANY overview of the MP3 playback and MP3 menu options, despite the fact the primary purpose of this player is music playback. Dude what do you think I said in that comment, I've tried RockBox on a few Sansaclips, and my last SansaClip+ I had it rockboxed, and while on my daily walk listening to some NESchiptune files it decided to go south, and no amount of work could get it unbricked, so I still feel the way I did the about Sandisk one word: rockbox 64gig* Hey Joanne... "Take it from a geek" wow, thanks video. you taught me nothing.. A massive package for such a tiny device! Manufacturers have no idea when it comes to wasting resources. I'm sooooo tired of Apple. Just want to listen to music! sorry about that. i just saw the video today. hope you were able to record what you wanted. is the Olympus recorder good? I'm still very happy with the sony and of course, the subject of this video, the sansa clip zip. for excellent voice recording I strongly recommend the Sony Digital Flash Voice Recorder (ICD-PX312). you can look it up on amazon. I used it in my jeans pocket outdoors and recorded without anyone realizing. I was afraid it wouldn't do a good job but I was so surprised! And the price is fantastic if this is all you want (although it is full of functions I don't use). Seriously. If you ever want to record people who treat you like crap without them knowing, the sony is it. Yeah, I prefer it to the Nano as well. Not that the Nano is bad, but Apple products are a little too rubber scissors for me. The new Nanos look like trash though, a fucking touchscreen and a jacked up price for an MP3 player? Are you kidding me?
fuck you this destroys all iPods (ive had all starting from iPod Nano's from 3 generations back) Im sure you can just load songs or other media onto an sd card and play right from there (w/out having to use their software) i have this and its awesome its so small!! :D do you have to use the install disk or can you just use the sd card slot and play it immediately thanX a lot! First off, it plays music...
YOU DON'T SAY? Oh. Riiiiiiighhtt.. Mine was given to me as a gift when I was 11 and the battery just died. Im going to modify it and put the insides into an altoids can to make a radio. Ha, mine still works! :-) Wow, this video was made when I was 2 years old hi can u take the clip off @HeyThatDude1 This thing works great, and my battery is fucked (washer) and screen is cracked. it STILL plays. Use your warranty and get another. Hey ;) @DaRandomKid The back clip slides on and clicks in place. You can slide it off with a firm push, but it doesn't come off in normal use.
@ADY18K 140 grams.... compared to the shuffle (30 grams) Someone stole my SansaClip not to mention my sennheiser headphones. Not best pleased as this things amazing. what is mp3 player clip?
what does clip mean here?
plz help @MrGaryg7 I need to buy a few of these! I love mine. I don't use it much for playback now that I have a 32 GB iPod G4, but it's still a great little audio recorder for covert recording of conversations, both in person and on the phone. Check your local laws for the legality. I'm still loving the tiny size, super long battery life, ridiculously long term charge retention when powered down (months!), and the drag & drop. The iPod proprietary data transfer sucks. This mp3 player is great. I got it for just over 20 Dollars, and it was great. easy to use, great sound quality and long battery life. I had it for over a year and i had not problems with. Now it starts to have some problems but only because it was in my pool. However if you are looking for an mp 3 player and you don't want to pay so much. This is the one you should go for. @XCLOWDXX
I think it is even better than the nano! i also just brought this mp3 player sansa clip,it even more better than ipod shuffle ,it have screen,it cheaper, and most important it have radio FM.This beat them all! :D MY LAST NAME IS ALSO McNamara ! just thought id share that [= can u put downloaded torrents on this? i will give all of you the run down of the clip .everybody says they die after 3 days to more than three months and all their fault sort of the battery wire to make the battery charge in it will sometimes gets disconected so it tends to not turn on if not charged so simply open the unit and saulder the wire back to the battery. this should fix the "dieing" problem. and if it freezes up go back to the main menu and wait a few seconds i think the reason why the wire comes during EXERCISE so it get the girl is hot @piggykiller77 I lost my 2 GB Sansa Clip. I immediately replaced it with the 4 GB version for about the same price I paid for the 2 GB version. The version with the mini-SD card had been out for a while, so the previous version was cheap.
