The panel of this monitor have 5 years old in 2019 ? I both this monitor yesterday, I didn`t find many information, I tought that at least was, not thaaat old.... I really worried. This monitor is so bad? I moving from a Samsung 240hz fullhd to a 4k, because I didn`t see any advantages of using 240hz
For a casual console or pc player that wants to run 4K on the series X or PS5 this is a great monitor for that I had the same monitor but a 1080p from years ago and it was great also!

Was gifted this after someone snooped my Amazon and saw I was looking at buying a second BenQ PD3200U. Parents wanted to get me a monitor, but weren't about to spend $700, so they gave me this. It's ok, but it doesn't look great next to the BenQ. lol
TBH, I dont agree with this review. Its sharp, I had this monitor for over 3 years, and it has the best image, among of all monitors I have tested. The only bad thing about this monitor is the light bleeding and viewing angles, other than that, its the best. The only issues with Samsung monitors, as that you need find one that is white, mostly all monitors nowadays are yellow tint. The other monitor the revised version. Is garbage I bought this on Black Friday and was garbage, didnt even compare to the other one. Was washed out the colors, the original one TN was way better color production. Once you play with the settings, its the best. Do not turst reviews, go buy it and make sure you get luck and find a good white color temp by default. And then you will see the monitor is fking awesome. The pixels on the Samsung original one shown here, even the pixels are sharper better and not washed out. 9:24 you can clearly see the updated monitor is yellow.
Is it really TN? Samsung website says LU32J590 is VA. https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/monitors/uhd-and-wqhd/32-uj590-uhd-monitor-lu32j590uqnxza/ And, considering VA, you should have tested for VA specific issues, such as black crush when viewed straight on. Also, the strength of VA should be reviewed - it's good blacks in dark scenes, no IPS glow or bleeding.
I have the older 28" model that you hated and I'm considering the 31.5" as a replacement and moving the 28" to my wife's PC. Why? Because I'm cheap. It's interesting being able to see them side to side. Thanks.
uj59 is a VA panel not a TN panel

I've had other 4K monitors that, when scaling, the cursor movement becomes ghosty and choppy. I'm using a Macbook Pro and the Thunderbolt port for video. Do you notice this happening with this monitor? My other option is a Benq PD3200Q that's 2560 x 1440. Although not 4K, it's seems highly recommend by designers. Thanks!

hello - I just bought the 32 inch 4k - Im trying to run in windows 7 but I can only set to 2560x1440 - If I try and set higher everything gets smaller - My question is with the 2560x1440 setting can I still see 4k in youtube

I think you are using 2560 x 1440 resolution as you are scaling, not 4K.
