I have an older Samsung model 65in which has very thin edges. I was thinking to upgrade to this 8k model but the edges are twice thicker which I dont like

$8k (CDN) 8k TV. :) Put in what looks like a family room. Wonder if they have a dedicated HT room. You'd assume some one spending this much on a flatscreen would. :)Gets me how manufacturers have 8k flatscreens on the market already (starting this year) yet there is no 8k media (e.g. 8k Bluray's). But some one said there is 8k res media on YouTube. Really Or is that wrong?This is a first. when we got standard HD there were "standard BluRay movie discs". When they introduced 4k TSV's there were 4k BluRay players..a Sony proprietary "puck (hard drive...with Sony 4k movie titles"...followed soon by 4k BluRay discs....Wonder how long it's going to be till we do get 8k BluRay's. Will we Samsung has stopped making 4k BluRay players as has Oppo. Which means they are moving AWAY physical media (discs)...will future 8k media be solely streamed? Forcing people to pay a fee to buy a copy and d/l onto a HD?

i saw the q900 r the other day at Best Buy 75 inch it was on display right next to the new q90 witch was a 65 inch both tvs look amazing but i was kinda disappointed with 8k i was expecting to be blown away but it didn't look that much better than the q90 4k tv i mean the 8k was maybe a little sharper and that was it and they were both playing the same demo maybe it had something 2 do with the size but i mean 75inch is still a big tv i just think 8k is more suited for really large theater screens and things like that maybe a 100 inches or larger but anyways great video i love this channel keep it up
Maybe you didn't show it on video. But would it have made sense to test the the panel was working before committing to installation?

Does the tv support 4k 120ps for gaming . Because i got the new xbox series x today and says my Samsung Q900 75 inch 2019 model QLED TV doesn't support 4k 120fps. Please would appreciate a reply
I threw mine in the trash, laggy software and bad 8k.

This video helped me alot, I have the LG 65" E8 which Unfortunately does not support 8K 2.1 HDMi, I recently pre ordered the PS5 which i really want the best gaming experience possible and that requires 8K 2.1 HDMi, Unfortunately this tv is the cheapest 8k on the market but after watching your review i see this tv is not worth the purchase

Got this tv yesterday but going to youtube and searching 8k video's max limit is 4k and won't select 8k in settings
But did you say in another video anything over 4k is useless so why waste your time reviewing 8kTV's

8k is a must if your hooking up your pc to the tv. If viewing your pictures or browsing on the web 8k Is better then 4K. With every penny to me
Cool review but honestly if someone got the money for this thing then they 9 times out of 10 wont be watching anything under 1080p. So that shouldn't even be brought up. And they wouldn't have content that would look bad because people who are buying this are most likely well off and can support the features of the tv. Unless you are that one dumb guy saving all his money for a 15000 tv. Then sure you can cry about it.
AI upscaling is critical to the value of this TV... disappointed

My 75Q900R arrives next week, i choose it above the 77C9 beacuse the price.75Q900R = $108,000 mexican pesos ($5,600 dls) and one Galaxy s10+ as a gift because the 50th. anniversary of samsung.77C9 = $199,000 mexican pesos ($10,400 dls) almost the double than the samsung.Besides im not worried about the burning effect. Just hope dont regret on this decision..

You mean you need tow persons to deliver the tv. I live alone and don't want anyone in my home with me to set up a tv. It can be with one person
