When put head to head with LG OLED this tv was far better to look at than LG .I'm talking like looking through a window at everything the world can bring to youSamsung has gotten some really bad reviews since the Note7 for a company that can erase the bad and keep impressing with new technology they have my SAMSUNG
For that price you have to go with OLED and it will be cheaper

Saw this and the Q7. Overpriced for their PQ/IQ. Still has judder. The curve still stretches reflections and focuses ambient light. Just SAY IT. Of course you're not saying it, you're selling it. OLED is superior still, and you can get them cheaper than this thing. IF you need to go LED for some reason, buy a 2017 Sony, they blow away these things. QLED is just samsung acknowledging OLED is superior and the consumer knows it, and wants it now. But they don't have it. Samsung failing to innovate again and it shows.
Picture is subjective? There are standards in place called REC.709, BT.2020, SMPTE, NTSC, etc. At some point if something doesn't look good against these standards, you have to look at the SOURCE MATERIAL.

It's good to see Samsung uses more metal again instead of plastic compared to the 2016 versions. A friend of mine who has a big TV store actually stopped selling Samsung TVs cause of many customers returning theirs due to quality issues (glue parts coming apart etc.).
Please provide the first impressions of contrast, backlight uniformity and if there is any clouding. I want to order a QLED asap but would like to hear some feedback first.
