I just got the Samsung 8 and it so great!
I own Samsung 75Frame tv, but it really is a disappointing experience. I would expect to have fully customised options for displaying slideshow from USB without needing to save it on very limited internal tv memory of 1GB!!! My slideshow consists of 3659 images (total of 14GB) and it is always a pain to start the slideshow as it is not available in the art mode. If that was the only problem ha-ha. Even if I get it going the tv repeats photos a lot to a degree that it does not advance past 50 images through the slideshow. It is a joke!!!!!!@#? Right. Another issue is the stupid zoom in picture transition which cannot be turned off!!! Why I cannot change images as often as I want to, only 3 settings available. Why I cannot choose between seconds, minutes and hours? It is a very frustrating experience as I bought this tv to have a nice big picture frame to display our family memories automatically without hassle all day long. Sadly, this tv cannot deliver due to very silly software limitations. I would have been better off buying a good android tv with awesome slideshow apps such as Fotoo. Samsung if you cannot fix these simple limitations, please allow Fotoo app or similar good android app on your tv platform. In comparison, the experience is like buying a sports car and discover that it can only drive 60km/h. Not cool Samsung. I won't recommend Samsung tv to anyone due to the above limitations as it is miss leading customers as even my 10 years old Panasonic TVs can do a better slideshow of a USB.If you have only around 50 images to display you will be happy with the tv but for everyone who wants to display a lot of images, I would look at some good Android tv.PS. The art mode has similar limitations.Sadly most of the YouTubers do not talk about real issues with this tv.

I got one in Best Buy open boxfair for only $379! Checked the box and it had everything including no gap wall mount and one connect box! Total steal compared to MSRP! Looks amazing in my kitchen even got white frame to match

I researched on google about cons of this tv. The memory bug that makes us unable to upload more photos foe the frame, and the issue with ambience and cache eating up the memory even on the first day for some people and the only solution being factory resetting the tv. If the sole purpose of the tv is not working, then whats the point? Samsung doesnt seem to be answering anything in the Reddits and community pages Ive read regarding this issue. Has any fix been provided as of 2021? Because I was thinking to but this but may hold off if the bug is still prevalent.

Thanks for posting this video. It helped clarify several questions I had about this product. I do have a few more questions I can't seem to find on the Samsung site and throughout I'd ask. My application is displaying photos of my own work in my office. We do live event production design (lighting, scenic, staging - for concerts, theatre, trade shows, etc). I was thinking of hanging perhaps 3 frames side-by-side, with a gap of a few feet between them - something like a mini art gallery wall. My main question is if there's an option to import our own image files and display them in art mode. I could probably create a video loop of some sort to achieve this. But it would be great if Samsung made this easy, and gave access to options for the digital mat, image scroll timing or other settings, and whatever (if any) digital voodoo they might apply to the image to make it look more photo-like. Ideally we could load our own photos and not have to pay monthly for access to licensed art. Also, I'm wondering if you have any thoughts on a good way to control multiple monitors at the same time. At a minimum, I could run them autonomously and just let them scroll independent of one another. But it would be really cool if I could achieve a coordinated photo montage. I can see the OneConnect box only drives a single output, so I'd normally assume this would require separate hardware/software solution. But maybe the timing on scrolling images in art mode would be reliable enough to stay in sync, if all triggered to start at the same time. Thanks in advance for any insight you might have.

Samsung = lame! They dropped support for dts and xvid in 2018 and onwards...so those dts/dtsx 4K files wont play! Dolby digital only!! Backwards step imo! Ill stick with my 2016 Samsung that supports EVERY format!!!
