I was an Apple user that had this phone when it first came out and it was the worst phone ever. It would constantly overheat and lagged a lot. Went back to Apple and never looked back. This ruined the Android experience for me and I will never get one again.

I use Android 5.0, I don't browse web using S5. but I use S5 as a. 'only one constantly carried prime device', just bought two other used S5s for 100 USD. Why? They eat 128 GB memory card and use LTE. Why the hell not But I also have two button phones for voice calls, and a Galaxy Tab S2 (reading and browsing outside home), and a PC, and a laptop. So. that depends on how you organize the whole system. My S5 is basically a notebook, camera, map-location tool, and storage space.
I miss metal backed phones, but I don't miss the bending. Nexus 6P was a beautiful nightmare.
I didn't like that button Samsung would always put that into their phones and also the Samsung logo there. But this is an otherwise functionally sound device built around functionality. You talk a lot about the back but. In all honesty the back isn't so ugly. The ugliest part of that phone is the fake chrome plastic sides, they are unnecessarily ugly in my opinion even the freaking Galaxy Young looks better. And yes I mean that.
You can actually play fortnite on this thing but boy the slowdowns happen a lot

11:30 I like being able to remove batteries because I dont like the idea of a phone still being _"active"_ and engage in tracking mode even after the phone is allegedly _"turned off."_ I dont trust non-removeable battery phones. Maybe that's just my age. But I am old enough to know how government and corporations can push bad & abusive policies when they have totally control and awareness of an individual's habits and activities. Give me a removable battery smartphone any day of the week!
