Hilarious how Touchwiz was considered one of the least intrusive Android skins back then. Then Samsung went overboard with it. Thank god Samsung scrapped it altogether and now we have the clean One UI from the S10 onwards.
I had that for 8 years. Finally broke ? NEVER ! I just accidentally destroyed the display ... But it still works

The last time I bought a 2GB ram phone was in 2019. It was a Galaxy A10. Im using a Galaxy A51/8GB now in 2021.

Screw this phone for $2000. I bought a Nokia 5.3 phone with an Android system with 64 G, 6.5 inch screen, 64g, expandable to 512G, for only $236 & free delivery from Amazon, with 2 years warranty. Don't spend $2000. I have over 50 games installed on my phone. Also has an Android system. Oh & 2 day battery life, rechargeable in 1 hour.

My aunt gave me a Samsung galaxy s3My mom said it was brand new, but it didnt function properly. Theres the unfortunately the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped popup, and a few more stuff. So Id just be using it, and it would say battery full. Unplug charger. The problem? Its not plugged into a charger AND the battery is at 30%.....and then the phone will turn off and I wont be able to turn it back on for a whileThis glitch happens about 8 times before you have to wait much longer until you can turn it on againIt happened to me in 2018 and I thought it was done. I thought there was no hope of turning it on again. But, this year, in 2021, I tried to turn it on....and it worked. But it was kinda useless, since i needed to update most of the stuff in order to be able to use it, AND my mom forgot the wifi password so I couldnt update it even if I wanted toAlso the on/off button was missing, AND the phone had a few cracks on places where the screen protector wasnt coveringBut I did eventually find the wifi password written in a book, so I tried to update it. Turns out idk how to use an android device at all. Also Ive been trying to turn it on but I cant anymore. Guess Ill have to try again in 2024.....Other than that, it was a good phone. 9 year old me had a lot of fun with the color filters, recording videos with the negative filter and pretending my house was haunted......such good memories....Also my fav part about the phone is the home button. I really dont care about making the bezels smaller, and I cant have a device without a home button cuz its kinda inconvenient and makes doing stuff like going to another app much slowerBut I guess the reason why I had an unpleasant experience with it is cuz it wasnt in a good condition when I got it

i had it till start of 2020! it got a bit slow, i wiped it, and its "fast" again but now i have a new phone anyway!

My first real smartphone, got it for 250 at the time with the top corner glass cracked off (was how I got it for 250 instead of RRP 400 a few weeks after launch). This was the real introduction for Android to the world and the ecosystem to rival iOS. Had it for a few years before switching to a Nexus 5 which refined Android to the base of what it is today.

I was still using an S3 as a media player. Has a great Wolfsen DAC. As a phone, I stopped using mine in 2015.
