I am currently on the market for new phone and have ability to chose between, Xiaomi 11T Pro, Samsung A53 and Redmi note 11 pro plus 5g. I am not a gamer more of media consumer and casual photo snaper. Which would be best to buy.
Believe last years model doesn't have water and dust proofing however which is a deal breaker

I upgraded from the a52s 5g to this A53 5g. Before capturing a photo in a52s 5g it looks really messy, its just great when its shot. Though a53 5g before shooting looks very good and the outputs great. I am pretty observant andsensitive when it comes to my phones. What i loved about this phone is before and after captures of the cam. Same goes with the video. Overall its great. You'll know hands on. Its still your own preferences.. but for me it does feel premium for a mid ranger.

It's a really great looking phone, just got mine last week, I'm pretty happy. Coming from the Galaxy S10e (a great little phone, definitely little compared to this new generation), after a week I can say that, for now, it's definitely been running slowly than my previous S-series phone. Bit disappointed in that since the S10e is 3 years old now, but it's not so slow that the phone feels bogged down, just *slightly* more of a delay than before, enough to notice but not enough to irritate (most of the time). It's tough to find the "perfect phone" nowadays: everything comes with compromises. A52 might have the better processor, but it also is paired with a weaker battery life. I might prefer a slight slower UI that can get me an extra 3 or more hours of usage. And the S21 FE seems like a good one that available through carriers still (unlike the A52), but it lacks the SD card that both the A52 and A53 have, which I think is a total ripoff (since these phones rarely go above 256 GB, which just isn't enough space in the long term, much less 128GB). For me, the A53 is a decent middle ground, although if the S21 FE had an SD card, I might have pursued that one instead (especially since my carrier is almost giving it away for free).

It's hard trying to find a good phone case for a phone that's not $1k or $600...Protection is my number 1 main concern so as long as I can find me a case for a A53 then I'll upgrade from my A21. All I need a phone for is to make calls, text and internet. I'm easygoing lol

I like the A52s better. The trade between the slightly smaller battery + faster chipset outweighs the bigger battery and slower chipset for me. Never been a big fan of Exynos chipsets.
Amazon has it for 350.00 right now, that's a bargain. 128gigs is not standard for this price range but Iphone's 64 is. Think she's used to having a high end phone and is forgetting about the phones this one's competing against. Missed were; there's no earphone jack for those who like wires, its waterproof to 3' for 30 min AWESOME and the only feature that would put it over the top would be wireless charging. The VERY slight performance loss over a phone twice its price is not going to be noticed.

The a53 is great but honestly after going from an a71 to an a53 after running it over with a bobcat I will say it's not quite the same device

im begging anyone who reads this NOT to get the galaxy a53!!! the phone is so fragile. I got the Galaxy A53 three days ago and the phone is broken already. I was charging it and put it on the nightstand and the cord jerked a bit and it made my phone fall off the nightstand. Well, I go to pick up the phone and the screen went green and black. This morning i checked to see if it would be fixed and now the phone does not turn on. I understand the phone fell on the ground but for it to completely go blank like that after one fall that was not even that great of a fall is pretty pathetic to me.

I only buy a new phone when my last one breaks and i had a Huawei Y7 for about 3 years and now i will upgrade to the a53 cus i got an offer to pay 12$ a month for 2 years
It's certainly not a step down from the S22 if you value storage space: the "flagships" all lack expandable memory. Hard to justify losing such a feature when micro-SD is such a small form factor.
