Hi Gogi. Ta for the review. Have just purchased this phone in the UK and it's advertised, I'm pretty sure as having 4G. I didn't think I had any headphones, so thanks for pointing it out, as I eventually found them and they're really good, considering they are "stock," issue. And, I like the fitting, which, IMO is better than the Sennheiser 90% angle efforts I've been using.

Great review, as always Ash., Not only do I think the A3 was insanely overpriced, I thought it was a terrible phone. I switched to it, earlier last year from a Moto G 4G, which I loved, going back to Samsung, as I'd already had a Samsung Galaxy Mini and Ace 2, both of which I also loved. That was a *big* mistake... Firstly, I got an "echo," every time I made a phone call, which I couldn't get rid of, no matter what I tried. The Carphone Warehouse said it was my "provider's" issue, but there were no problems with previous, or subsequent phones and I haven't switched providers. Secondly, it looked cheap and tacky, although there was an amazing Samsung Brand Case which hid most of the faults. Thirdly, and this was the biggie, it didn't look symmetrical, the Home Button moved about making the rest of the screen look off kilter and nothing looked "even," including the Samsung logo at the top, nor the edges of the viewing screen. I took it back to the Carphone Warehouse, who, insisted there was no issue with it, inspite of the fact that several friends etc. told me it didn't "look right!" I began, at one stage to question my own vision! :O) However, I've since seen them in stores and they look fine, in that regard. Suffice it to say, that I became so hacked off with the thing that I took it back and exchanged it for an iPhone 6 and I've had no problems with any of the above! :O) I makes me very wary of ever going back to Android, let alone Samsung.

This is now available for £150. In that price range it's a dead heat between this and the Microsoft Lumia 640. (which has the older Snapdragon 400 chipset, 1GB of RAM, and doesn't have 64 bit architecture) also Android KitKat is certainly a better OS than Windows phone. For £150 you'd be hard pressed to find a better Android phone (considering the One Plus One is no longer available in the UK)

I was thinking of buying this phone mainly due to its battery life. In the UK it can be bought for around £150 or a refurbished one for £135 with a 12 month warranty which is pretty cheap.
samsung is just surviving bcoz of super amoled display....xcpt that a total crap....

This phone just needed an extra gig of RAM and I would've found it much more appealing; 1 GB is just not enough.
