Hey man great video again, question for you - i'm changing out my ESC on my MN D90 and they have jst plugs - if i get these batteries that have the black plugs what do you recommend to hook them up to JST? you mentioned you have adapters from the black style to the JST?

only problem is batteries and china dont mix. alot of so called lipos, are actually not lipos. they are lithium ion batteries completely different to lithium polymer but more stable as you say when charging. not clear if chinese producers dont understand the difference between lipos and li-ion batteries, but they put the word lipo on every battery they sell. quick way to check is look up the big number with the letters either side, this case HJ18650 and it will tell you what battery it is and its chemical composition. basically then i found that the HJ18650 is a lithium iron phosphate battery that is easy to discharge to lower volts, long life and good for greedy appliances as it provides continous current. there are variations of this battery and they produce higher mah batteries based on lithium cobalt nickel managese cells.
then how long the battery lasts? 20minutes? 30minutes?
I bought 6 of them I'm enjoying them I use 4s 1500 mah found on Amazon 2 for about 30 only been using about a Month no problems yet and they very well I live next to a busy rd so I spend most days racing cars so it's punch after punch

I just received 4 x2200 3S lipos....the cells were very poorly unbalanced and charged too high at 3.9V Is this common? they were the G-Plus series(white)

Worst on my list are Tattu's. Especially in the 650mah micro realm
I will take 10-30g per pack more weight if it means that the battery itself is anywhere from 5 to 10 dollars a battery cheaper than comparable capacity/cell count.
GNB have been the best for me, here in the US you can buy the relabelled RDQ 4s 1300mah for $20 each.

Nice review Bruce, these are some decent batteries I have 2 or 3 myself one is actually an 1800, but I' also have some r lines as well, however I have also been running ovonics they are a fantastic battery at a good price. If you can give em a look

...i have some serious development (medical+drone) developments going, that severely limits what i can spend on fun/passion which is freestyling quads and ripping god a new arsehole. Those precious funds are the most well considered Investments, that I have and will ever do. Those batteries keep me from going full postal :-) so this conclusion comes with all my experiences - fun and professional longevity included: Buy GNB's if possible or save until you can - the math is undisputable, now for the 6' year running. If money is no objection then buy something else - chnl is not bad for middle of the road needs. Thx Bruce :-)

The weight of it got me a bit suspicious, only 400gr, and on opening it up my gut feeling was confirmed, only four of them was shipped. But the most irritating part is that the order info claims that the whole order has been shipped. Customerservice has been notified, let's see what response will be. Just a heads up for the rest of you ordering from CNHL, be sure to use a payment that includes some sort of insurance in case shipped items are lost, missing or inadequate to what you've paid for. that's funny because I actually had to put one of these CHNL battery down a bowl of Salty water because two of the cells decided to go down to 1.9v while the others are still at 3.8v. I always take care of my batteries, I put them in storage mode after a day of flying and I balance the cells on top of that. It's been raining for weeks here so I didn't use the battery for a month and last weekend it was sunny, and unfortunately out of the blue the cells went down. FYI: the battery does not show any sign of puffiness or damage from a potential crash. Another thing: the 6s version is 20g heavier than Tattu batteries and so much chunkier.
