Just bought the same battery for the same phone... fingers crossed...
In the UK ravpower was cheaper or same price as an original. I've brought so called Samsung battery in the past. Was fake.
I use the S4. This battery is now on charge as arried today from Amazon. I'm in the UK.
The problem is the "OEM" batteries are often counterfeit, read the amazon reviews. Therefore, may be better to buy known quality. Your thoughts?

I bought this for my S4-M919 and works a little better than the OG manufactured samsung battery this one i don't have to worry about it overheating it has that type of protection on it. But i want to ask you does it charge faster w a samsung charger using this battery or does it charge slow same paste w the regular manufac battery in the phone?
well, if you ever tried to sell the phone and said that it wasn't in water, someone would know by looking at the battery whether you was telling the truth
I love the S4 and S5 because they still have the IR Blaster and the S5 has a heart rate monitor and I believe also has a fingerprint sensor don't remember
I much appreciate this timely review in particular. My boss uses that phone - with its original battery still. I recommended he buy a new battery months (& months) ago. He's tech-intimidated, so I'm very pleased to show him your comparison here. I think he'll feel better aware of the need to replace his battery, with a good basis for comparing price vs value. Dumb question: I noticed there is a duty cycle marked on the battery, when you get close to or exceed this, would that be a reason your phone wont fully charge or dis charged really quick (ie only last a few hours after a full charge)?
Maybe you make mistake by charging to 4.2V. This is High Voltage Cell. Try to charge it to 4.35V. I tested few Chinese brand and difference was big in some cases. Thank you
Were you able to do a blind test, not using the phone, to see the standby time before reaching a set discharge point of both batteries? I've been doing this with an extra S2 that we keep around, which is not used at all to test our batteries and see a great variance between OEM batteries rated at 1650 mAh as well as vs generic, higher rated batteries rated at 2450 and 2500. The generic batteries last literally days longer than the OEM batteries on standby discharging to a set 14% which triggers a low battery alarm app. I did this months ago, so I don't remember the exact times, but was happily startled by the significant duration the 800-850 mAh yielded.

Great, worked for me. It is always nice to know how to remove the back with out breaking something in the process. Found the tab and it was a slam dunk.

hey.. i have a galaxy s4 i had it for like 4 years now without changing the battery for the whole 4 years.. so the problem is that my phone is dainig super fast and charges so so sooo slowly .. and i used 4 different chargers and none of them really charhes my phone faster .. and my sister's fast charger is chanrging my s4 super fast but i'm not allowed to use it .. should i change the battery or what? reply plz help
