my only disappointment is that we don't have a wireless version of this as well as no backlit side keys. The G600 has backlit side keys so this being a superior mouse I'd say, at least price and features wise, I think it should not lose this backlit side feature compared to the G600. We should have some sort of Nyth V2 or something coming up, that would be Itching cool

Nobody tells you that if you want to bind the numpad numbers to the mouse side buttons (like anyone using a mouse like this would) that the easy shift system prevents the system from seeing the shift modifier (shift+numpad1). Completely broken, never had issues like this with the naga.

I get that you can cuztomize it but - who have time for that in a fight - if you use the 12 witch GAMERS USE! its a cheap ( because of all the swap part - that does make it more fregatile ) copy of razors mouse nogo for me

I was actually thinking 6 small buttons at the tip of the thumb and 2 big ones at the base would be a nice configuration... I'm planning on getting the Corsair Scimitar Pro but this does look really nice to have as an option
I've tried a couple roccat mice. But instead of a tried and true horizontal scroll mouse wheel, they put that stupid fin on the back. Stupid on a level I can't understand.

For those looking for claw grip or interchangeable in 2019, jsut checked around: Razer Naga, Logitech G65, Corsair 95 and Scimitar are all palm gripped MMO mice. The Nyth, along with a few other lower end mice, are the only ones with 12+ side keys that can be used with claw grip. The only one I really saw before this was the discontinued Razer Naga Elite (which mine just roke after a few years of heavy use (-.-) ). Good luck finding your next mouse, hope this helps!

When I was really into CS:S I used 400 DPI. When I started getting more into MMO's I went up to 1600 DPI because you really don't need to be able to do any really fast controlled flicks the same way you do in shooters. 1600 was like the highest I could go without it feeling *too* high, so I've never understood the point of having super high DPI. And since I got used to 1600, I started using 800 in FPS games instead of 400, just because 400 felt too slow. But I've never felt the need to go above that. If anything, you reach a certain point with DPI where any little movement will cause way too much movement on screen, so it's no longer practical. The only argument I've heard is that the higher the DPI a mouse can do, the more accurate it will be at low DPI. But I haven't found that to be true, it's just people assuming that the higher DPI sensor is "better" over all. But that's marketing I guess.

I know the video is a bit older now but more then 4000 dpi isnt useless. Its much more accurate when you play with high dpi and scale down the mouse speed in the game.
I have a Kone Aimo....I loved it but for few months now I'm playing MMO and man whyyyyyyyy I did bought an FPS mouse lolollololol and it actually costs more then this Nyth one! Kone costed me 80 euro and the Nyth is at budget price in Amazon of 45 Euros...damn I'm agry at myself XD nice review thanks a lot

Back 10-15 years ago university students used to grind mobs a bit between lectures on their laptop :D luckily MMOs were pretty forgiving to laptops with weak GPUs, and probably still are. So yeah i think high surface compatibility might actually be relevant to the target market.
dpi depends on the scaling of the computer and resolution. for example in cs:go. a sensitivity in game of 1 with a dpi of 2000 results in a true 2000 dpi. while i can set ingame to 2 sens and 1000dpi and still end up with the same 2000dpi feel. just like windows, games multiply the input from the mouse. in all reality, we should have the mice do the work, and let the game just read pure input without changing it or making it artificially faster. i would like to see games where sensitivity is disabled and runs "true" to whatever your mouse dpi is. giving a proper aim.

I have one and I use it for CS:GO, I also disagree with a lot of things in this review. I never press buttons when lifting the mouse and I also don't press any or them with my grip, plus I use a layout with 9 buttons having buttons exactly where you cancelled them LOL! I use a Razer Goliathus control mousepad and the precision in extremely short movements is always spot on. Also the weight thing is a personal feature, that quote "a mouse is too heavy for fps" is not true at all, I personally need a heavy mouse to feel that the mouse is grounded and it gives me a lot of stopping power when aim-locking a target. A mouse is a mouse, I'm getting tired of that MMO vs FPS mice fight. If a mouse over 50 dollars doesn't have a proper sensor for FPS throw it through the window. Btw I like your channel and this is my go to place when it comes to this topic. Hell, that's how I found this review, I wanted to know if you had one about this mouse. Anyways just wanted to show my own point of view regarding this peripheral.

At nearly 39mm high it should be fine to palm grip for smaller hands. In my experience anything under 38mm is bad for palm grip but 38-40mm feels really good in the palm.
Bought this mouse after watching this video. It's a good mouse. the only problem is that the side buttons are not placed well. I had to disable them because I kept accidentally pushing them. Never had this problem with any other mouse.

Does this mouse do press and hold to repeat macros continuously? I bought one a long time ago and it was not an option although other mice by the same company did allow press and hold to repeat.
