I love Superstar Brown, I just bought it, along with Showstopper. I passed on Power Move even though I love dark vampy colors but I then bought Black Cherry which is very similar without being patchy. Glad I saw your review bc it made me feel better about not buying PM. I also had to grab Dare To Be Nude, I even bought an extra for my niece in law who loves nude lipstick. Edit: I ended up buying Power Move and like I suspected it is nearly identical to Dark Cherry except matte, on you it looks like a really deep red but on me it has a violet undertone and stains my lips bright pink.

I loved the vampy red even if its patchy, like u just ate some berries and strawberry jam. Like it’s meant to be patchy, they have that effect along with the other dark shades.

Fire and ice is always my favourite red colour, revlon is my favourite brand for lipstick regardless of price 💄👍 BTW you persuaded mw to buy the one called show stopper 😉
Rise up rose turns purple on my lips, sad. My favorite is rose wood, and I am planning to purchase plum raisin and rose velvet. The formula is so good, so hydrating, it gives a bit glossy finish but somehow last a long time on me.

Thank you for this, very helpful. Those nudes are every thing on you with the pinkish undertone in your skin; I'm golden so they don't do much for me but I love the reds. My fav Revlon Red is #725 Love that Red.
Great review and color descriptions! I own quite a few of these and love all of them. Rosewine is a bit hard to describe bc it's a warm rosey brown even though it looks slightly red in the bullet. I highly recommend Rose Velvet too, it's less brown without being too pink, it's a mlbb only a bit darker. So many great shades to mention! I'm in love with Superstar Brown and can't wait to wear Showstopper once we're allowed to go out in public without a face mask. I also need to wear Fire & Ice more often.
I really want to love Revlon because they are less toxic(according to EWG) than Maybelline. But for me they are soooo drying!! 😖 I have the shade wild thoughts but it made my lips look like dry butthole.

I wonder how different these are from the Super Lustrous mattes that came out last year aside from the packaging change and new shades. 🤔 Those are very comfortable and lightweight, and I haven't noticed any feathering with any of the six shades I own so if the formula did change that's a bummer. Not to mention a few shades I fell in love with that are not in this new line.

I think they will make a come back. I recently bought the good old lustrous formula "toast of new york" that I use to wear 20 years ago and I thought why did I stop buying this. Some make up trends are just trends.

Bullet Lipsticks have always been my favorite! Revlon Super Lustrous Matte, Creme, and even their sheer formula are top favorites. I want On Fire. I own Really Red Matte from their original matte SL line and it's not drying at all. I also own Fire & Ice in the creme formula and it's nice they released it in matte and also their new glossy lipsticks since it's so iconic. I wish they had a black in this new matte line too 🖤
