Revlon Mauvy Nights is a favorite! I have one of their frosts too and never ever would have purchased, but it came highly recommended by a YouTuber specializing in mature beauty. I think you describe the look of the formula perfectly.
Now I need to go and pick up some Revlon lipsticks to try! I don't know what it is with companies wanting to make their products more unique so they change the shapes which makes them harder to use. The Rimmel lipstick, especially with how large the surface looks, would get all over my face if I tried to use that lol!
What are your current top 5 budgeproof, transferproof lipsticks? Preferably not matte or at least still wear well with gloss over it. I'm desperate to find my HG as nothing really is doing the job as well as I need it to. Ideas?

I need to develop my inner lipstick junkie! I'm totally a eyeshadow palette junkie, but I spend all my money on that and then there is none left for lipstick :P I snuck one of my mom's lipsticks in middle school but it was one of those super vampy 90's browns, so I really was not skilled enough to look good wearing it yet :D All these drugstore lipsticks are seriously impressing me with their staying power. Revlon's lipsticks are really great! I haven't tried a whole lot of wet n wild's stick lipsticks so I'll have to try them out! I've never been a huge fan of maybelline lipsticks; I just feel like they are gone almost immediately. Ok, sorry for the essay :P I'm going to buy all the lipsticks now!!! xoxo

These have been popping up in Big Lot's stores for $2 each. I'm kind of bummed I couldn't find So Lit bc it's stunning but I was able to pick up a few. I skipped on Power Move bc I have similar shades including Revlon SL Black Cherry and Maybelline Loaded Bolds Smoking Red neither of which are patchy like Power Move.
