Whats the purpose of the gloss
These are the best! Your mistake was putting on chap stick or gloss before! So colors are not as good as others for sure though! I’ve gone to sleep in them and woke up looking like I just put it on.
I hate this lip product
I have been wearing this for so many years I can't remember. Endless Spice is my favorite color but it seems to be everyone's as well because it's often sold out. You need to put a thin coat., stays much longer.
I LOVE THESE!!!🤷‍♀ I've had it last almost 24 hours. It's the first thing I apply when doing my makeup, let it set for about 20 minutes, then put the gloss on.

Even though I saw this video (which would have kept me from buying it), I bought Revlon 16-hour Colorstay because a friend of mine told me she used this lipstick exclusively after I complimented her on her lips always looking so nice. She told me you need to have totally dry lips before you put it on. Now I know why I LOVE this lipstick. I followed the directions and this vlogger did NOT! She put on lip balm before reviewing this product! If you want to have color on your lips for 24-48 hours without applying ANYTHING else, buy Revlon 16-hour Colorstay.

Hi:) I only use this kind of lipstick. The trick is, you need to have clean dry lips. Yes it is drying, but five minutes before I put makeup on I put on face moisturizer and then after I've brushed my teeth, put coconut oil on my toothbrush and brush my lips with it and then Pat dry leaving NO oils or water or dead skin. Then when you get ready to apply the lipstick, you need to treat it like it's paint and lightly and evenly "paint" the color on in layers. If you apply it like regular lipstick or gloss it's going to become tacky and then dry and flake off EVERYWHERE even on your teeth. The thin layers are crucial. It only looks sheer until it dries. I apply two thin layers maximum and then wait 15 seconds and apply the gloss. It lasts forever.
You applied way too much layers
Girl Chapped lips in seconds. I dont care how much mosturized your lips are. How much water you drink. It NEVER I can actually say NEVER. Fails for me to get chapped lips from this.

You put on way too much. 1 coat is all you need. This is my go to lip product. Also it could be that you put on lip balm before applying. You should have clean dry lips first. It also helps to lightly blot your lips after applying the gloss.
just wanted to say that I've been using this for years and it works fine. that happened because you applied too much . the more you apply, the more its going to crack and get everywhere

I only use Colorstay lip colours :) I apply coconut oil to my lips and then pat it dry with a paper towel. Once my lips feel soft (but dry) I apply one thin coat of colorstay. Depending on my mood, I'll add another coat. It lasts forever and I refrain from using the gloss. To take it off (without it coming off in patches like yours did), I use coconut oil on a cotton pad - comes off almost instantly! I see where your dismay for this product comes from but sometimes trying out different techniques will reveal the beauty of the product! x

Thanks for this vid. Just found your channel and have already ordered a bunch of stuff from watching your other vids. I like how you show the product very thoroughly and show a close up of the colors. I have always loved how lipsticks looked but hated how they came off on everything and bled onto the skin and got on your teeth ext... But after trying these lipsticks I wore lipstick out in public for the very first time today!!! I'm almost 30 lol I'm hooked on these and am most definitely picking up more shades. Thank you for trying on so many colors to give me an idea of which shades to buy. I have Always sienna it's a beautiful red for any pale as pale can get ladies :)
Thank you for showing so many colors! It's hard to tell on their website which ones have more frosted look. I prefer a more crème finish. My fave is the mulberry one. Very natural. I also love Sienna (runners up are Endless Spice and Bare Maximum). And I adore Colorstay Overtime! I haven't found anything better at staying on all day. Thanks for the tips on the Neutrogena wipes too. Must get some. =]
