I like it from my research seems super well made and it looks good but I feel the klim nac pac is cheaper, better organization layout and price point for my mountain biking and upcoming dirtbike needs. Great video.
Hi Mark. Interesting comment on being a fan on water bottles. I'm not because of the extra weight. Have a look at the Sawyer water filter system. This is what I use with a water bladder in the backpack. This allows me to have water and even having better access to drinking water when hiking in the wilderness.https://youtu.be/haY3T4F0lCw

Help me out! I'm torn between the Athlete and the Adventure pack. I got a ThinkTank Backlight Elite 45L awhile back hoping to use it for an overnight backpacking bag, but it wasn't big enough for what I needed. I'm hesitant to get the Adventure as I'm worried it'll be too big and unwieldy when I'm using it for day trips or on shorter excursions, but it sounds like it's easy to cinch it down when it's not packed full so it has a smaller profile. I don't think the Athlete would be big enough for an overnight trip with tent/sleeping bag/food, etc. TrueThanks for the gear guides! Keep up the good work!

Hi Mark,I watch all your videos about camera backpack review and I think I am interested in the Atlas or Shimoda backpack.I have a Canon EOS 6D body and EF 24-105mm f/4 at the moment. My final kit will have three prime lens (24mm, 35mm and maybe 85mm f/1.4) and 70-200mm f/2.8.I really like hiking during a day and walking around in city so capacity of personal stuff is important for me.Which one between Atlas Athlete / Adventure or Shimoda 40L / 60L can be "perfect" for me ?I subscribe recently and it's a pleasure to watch your work !!
Hi Mark - great video, really helpful.One question - you mention the 70L 'Shell' size, with a popup saying 50L carry capacity - can you explain why there's a 20L difference between the two? After I watched your video I went straight to Atlas website to get Mine even I had the Wrong Size but thanks To Allan Henry from Atlas Pack after I spoke to him he helped me to get the one that I wanted but trust the Quality is insane very great backpack Atlas customers are very Amazing great recommendation backpack for landscape Photographers

Hi Mark, does this pack have aluminum braces? One thing I like about this pack is the cylindrical storage compartment that you can put personal belongings. I saw the other video you have of a three bags comparison and the Atlas is more attractive. I see dual purpose in using this kind of pack.
Hello Mark, I had my heart set on buying a new Shimoda but this one seems to have more Bells and Whistles and does look very comfortable indeed! The first niggly thing I see, and it is the same with (all) backpack makers is the Zip - Pulls! In darkness and poor light it is difficult to locate the ring - pull. I would like to see these with a bright yellow or some kind of day/glow. If they addressed this matter I believe it could be regarded as the Rolls-Royce of backpacks. Anyway, at the moment I am very interested...

Great video review. I was looking at the LowePro Protactic bag & wondered how the Atlas BackPack would compare? I am traveling thru Australia & New Zealand for 2mon & need a bag that can not only carry my camera gear but carry my Zhiyun Smooth 4 in the styrofoam case it comes in for protection. I shoot videos as well as photos & need my gimbal inside the bag so it doesnt get damaged plus my DSLR & GoPro cameras & Accessories. How does this bag compare? Also how long does it take to get delivery of the bag I am going to Phoenix in mid Oct then leaving on my trip to New Zealand in Jan 1/2019
