Will this rotate to landscape mode? 
I would not trust this mount for that particular application, no. At the moment I don't think RAM has anything available that would work for that, but I would expect something to be available soon, so make sure to check back either on their website or ours.
Im looking for a way to mount my iphone 5 to my motorcycle (vtx 1300C, straight handlebars) would you trust this ram mount to hold my iphone above 100 mph? thanks

Great videos.. I have a Dakota 20 and need a very secure way to mount to some oversized (1 1/8") handlebars. This doesn't appear to accomodate 1 1/8" bars does it? Also, I'm slightly worried it would be easy to pop off if you crashed. Is there something better for holding this GPS on to oversized bars for mountain biking? Thanks!

that a additional fixing requiered to prevent to slip Smartphone/Tablet from RAM X-Grip away but I dont understand why RAM-Mount stubborn fixed on the involved rubber??? you can take pieces of velcro tape hard part in the center over the rammount logo and soft part on backside(case) of your Smartphone/Tablet and safe you the involved rubber 🥳🥳

How do you keep the phone from rotating a few degrees while on the x grip mount? I've installed the mount, and when the phone is in there is a good half inch of play where the phone will go from vertical to slightly askew in one direction. Is there a lock that I'm missing?

I have a galaxy s7 edge it seems the thether to be very small. Is it supposed to be like that? I got a case not too bulky but about same size as an iPhone 8... It's not the edge plus.
Never used the tether 120 mph plus for 8months worked great, until today! Rubber leg slipped off dropped my phone going 65 in traffic spent a while looking for it found it unscathed but the point is I'll replace the rubber grip and tether the phone every time now
Use the tether if I took those three words out of the script we have a two second video with great advice

I've got that ram mount x grip for my note 10 + with otterbox however it's to big for that rubber tether, also I wish thay included 4 of those rubber x grip gripper pads as thay tend to come off or get stollen besides that a great product thanks

i really want to mount my phone but im just so worried that my phone will go flying when i hit a pothole or open the bike up on the highway, especially due to my bandit 1250 having no windscreen or fairing
yes it also holds a flip phone lol unfortunately i heard this from many ram mount users and telling me their phone falling off on high speeds .... after some research we have finally concluded your best bet is a rokform motorcycle mount that is universal for quite a bit of bars or quad lock which is cheaper and it supposedly tends to wear out over time due to heavy vibration .. cheers
