You are paying $200 for shoes with soles that will wear out. Men have patience. Know your shoe size and purchase a quality that is comfortable. This shoe is a rip off.
Sneakers w/ suits is an absolute no for me. Sneakers w/ odd trousers and sport coat can look ok but never as good as a loafer. I think these and similar low profile sneakers or sneaker/dress shoe hybrids are acceptable smart casual wear. The styles were in the video will dress up that style better than say a Common Projects or Thursday Boots sneaker and dress down the style w/ out going too casual. That may be seen as being safe but I’m not referring to how one is expected to dress in an office or other professional environment such as an educator and not how they dress off the clock. I think the goal is comfort while leaning toward classic style not for sports activities. I think if on feet all day, doing a lot of walking and not just at the desk or need something to commute in or for foul weather these solve a lot of those situations.

I’ll be honest with my comments working as a shoe store manager and seeing all kinds of good quality shoes and cheap shoes through out the years. I can say that this doesn’t look like it’s worth $150 price range looks like a cheap $40 shoe with the way it bends looks really cheap. Now that I’m a banker Imwe don’t have to wear suits all the time we can wear dressy casual jeans and a button down but must wear shoes. I was looking at a pair of these but honestly it looks way too cheap. If you look at thursday boot company they make much nicer looking low tops
I wear what I like and I'm not influenced by what others think and doing so makes me an individual everyone should feel the same way about what they wear, not buy things others (say) you should wear.

no. looks quite bad actually. i and probably many others would prefer a nice clean simple pair of Vans or Converse rather than a dead-flat-sole "dress" shoe. this looks like a lazy and "safe" way to pull off being dressy - like a "my first dress shoe" type of approach. there's plenty of COMFORTABLE dress shoes out there anyways - they're not at all harsh planks. proper dress shoes or Vans/Cons at least indicate the wearer knows what they're doing -THIS indicates the wearer is afraid and trying to be too "safe".
