U said that it has good bass but how does it compare with those speakers that have a separate bass? Can u use this as computer speakers or extra TV speaker?

It's a piece of crap sounds like a little plastic Chinese made alarm clock. Strong bass??? Common man what the hell is saying? A 200$ Sonos destroys it. I'm so pissed you made me buy this for someone.

The very best thing about this video is knowing that I bought this for my 81 year old father. He has a number of their products now, and has been a HUGE fan of BOSE products since day one. Now he has the best compact stereo in the world so that, while he is in the bathroom in the morning, he can listen to his talk radio. Love my Pops.

Listen I had my Bose 9yrs and it still plays beautifully please believe me this is the way to go beautiful sound real talk
Had one of these for 8 years, struggled to get it to keep wifi connection, it would be fine for a few days then I would have to go through the connection process, loop! I also had another SoundTouch 10 speaker that was solid and I had to use it as the master in a group, if I tried it the other way it wouldn’t work. I have gone trough all the hoops, factory reset, downloading the software onto a USB and uploading it etc. Bought a Sonos Move and that’s the only solution! p.s I have worked in the electronics and computer industry for 40+ years, I believe something is amiss at Bose as forums have been complaining for years without resolution, the seem oblivious or incapable.

I'm from Sweden I use this preamplifier I bought it as a joke and did not expect anything from it. It sounds like it is called holographic, one of the biggest advantages of it is that the sound is full when you play very very low. I use it with Dynaco mk lll and with Swedish speakers XTZ which are upgraded with new filters and Seas beryllium treble. Check xtzsound.eu if you are interested.

In my opinion the coloration should be in the speakers first. If you want more coloration in the music...yes, get a different preamp/power amp. I bought a vintage Luxman receiver and paired it with a Magnat floorstanding speakers, the combination creates a very warm and full sound...great for my livingroom and exactly what I want. But now I want a very transparent amp. I think Holographic Audio has a very good solution. For my headphones I bought the Rupert Neve headphone amp. Very neutral and transparant. Great for my coloured sounding Nighthawks. But I am also buying a coloured tube headphone amp.

From what I've read I would expect HA to deliver the recording as it was intended. Naim on the other hand tends to deliver what the musicians are trying to convey. I tested this with Naim and Hegel yesterday. Hegel gave a clearer picture while Naim gave a better feel. You know that PRaT thing that Naim is famous for. Now if HA could do both that would be special...
I currently own an XS 2 and it does in fact add a flavor of its own. It excels with ambient and electronic music mainly because that type of music in ''unnatural'' to start with. It has its faults but is probably the most versatile Naim amp that I've heard in that it is more forgiving therefore allowing me to be able to listen to all my music without cringing. That being said I'm beginning to itch to try something else but certainly won't be ditching the Naim impulsively.
Looks interesting (reminds me of Heed). But the competition in that price range is fierce. Nait 5si for a bit less, Rega Brio-R for half the price, etc
I can only agree with you, these small boxes are something special, especially considering the price point. The power-amp is perfect for smaller speakers, and the pre-amp really lets the source shine through (regardless of pricepoint!). If you have a high quality DAC or phone stage, I can warmly recommend this.
