Here is the beautiful Solar post lights I like so much: amazon shops sogrand
I bought one at wal mart these are very bright but they must be out there on the side to make work very bright but they work
very nice houses out there in Arizona or Nevada
I bought one that won't even turn on
They both ok....battery and solar.....but if you lived in cleveland ohio.....they bot sucks and dosnt work durning the winter months....wich here is from November till may
My ever bright lights stay on low until motion sets them to high. Even when we have multiple rainy days where the sun doesn't come out, my lights work for 3 nights. My lights also detect motion from a wider angle than the one you were reviewing. Not knocking the light as it seems pretty bright. I'm just wondering if there are different specifications the ever bright lights are built to
Great Review. are you interested in reviewing our new Solar Flood Light? https://amzn.to/35lhiAa
Tape tape tape tape! Get some velcro! $1 solution
Mine works great...right out of the box lasts all night.
For what it's worth, 30 months later and it's still working in another review.
Is not worthy I have some and then don’t last the long they turn on less than 4 times at night and after that they don’t turn on
I saw this video when you first got these and convinced me to get 4 of them and after a few months I actually upgraded the batteries from 1200mah I (believe) to 2000mah and the results were amazing longer life 👍...
But now that I moved back in Aug of 2020 and the location were I placed them isn't good with sunlight so I got me a magnetic 18650 charger to charge them without opening the light when needed... I did solder (+) & (-) wires from the battery to a screw that went thru the back so the charger can stick to them
This the charger i used to help give an idea of what I created
How many times can it be triggered on before it runs out of juice?
never mind my light on my sunblast went off :)
my light came on and has stayed on in the day
I have a very shaded yard and very few places get enough solar energy necessary (typically 5-8 hours) for a full charge. I use a pair of cheap motion-detecting lights that have a 6' extension cord attached to the solar panel for placement to get optimum solar energy capture. They suit me fine. But I've seen solar lights that range in price from $40 to several hundred dollars for 200 watts or more. Some solar panels can get very large too. For example, the 200W version Cyberdax has a 14.2 x 22.8-inch, 400 LED solar panel with a 16' cord. If you have large wide-open spaces that need more security then that's the way to go.
I purchased both the Everbrite and SunBlast solar lights. I like the Everbrite better overall. It gives you some light when you want to know which direction to walk. Also, The Everbrite ran all winter, even when twenty degrees below zero Fahrenheit. The Sunblast does not work at all below freezing. I am looking into other solar lights now, because I also have found the battery is nearly dead after one year. If it was replaceable that would be great. Recently I purchased a Towkka Super Bright 120 LED Solar Lights: Equipped with Eco-friendly 120 LED chips and high-quality rechargeable 2200mAh Li-ion battery. After charging for 1 week, I mounted the lights and found the light the area around the house better than either of the first two in either medium or high brightness mode. But the Dusk-Dawn medium mode kills the batter after 2 to 3 hours. But in the off/bright mode the light works all night, but they could have made it stay on a lot long, like maybe a whole minute.
My light died in a week, and reviews seem to show that they don't last more than a few weeks
I think mine is broken? It doesn't light.
I have the Sunblast and the Atomic Bionic and they both work great 👍
Jeff, thanks for bringing this information to light!
Did you happen to check into the Deluxe version of the Bionic Spotlight? Was wondering if it is worth the upgrade?
Pretty good video coverage. But what I'm really impressed with is your efforts of the three models and of their pros & cons. Certainly took a lot of time and effort on your part. Thank you.
see my other comment about the screws on your atomic beam sunblast video it will help you. Screws are not a problem
I like the Dunblane 1, and the bionic 2nd, question are they water proof? Last and function throuh Rainey and frosty weather?
bionic for me i had mr beems there junk battery eaters and get water inside
@Jeff appreciate all the light reviews! I’m gonna go with the Bionic light since I’m in a neighborhood I think it will work best plus the red light is appealing. Keep em coming Sir!
I have both sunblast and spotlight...both work great...but how long they last is the question.
I like the bionic it also has a swivel for different angles
I got one i love it
Whoa the sunblast does exactly that, blast! The battery is my only low point but i guess its what you need.
My bionic is at i think 10 12 feet and im testing it tonight. Wife tripped the sensor and got scared. It works!
That sunvlast light is crap, it doesn't come on every time motion is in front of it.
Thanks, I may get one of these Sun Blast.
Bionic looks good to me
MR BEAMS LIGHTS.
Bad sound quality terrible echo in the room please invest in a mic
Great review and video the lighting they provide with the motion sensitivity.
Yo acabo de comprar 2 luces solares y salieron dañada mañana iré a cambiarlas haber si funcionan
Specs from battery replace, please?
I have had similar problems with the SunBlast night light. I found that the Li-Ion batter they use (similar to the 18600) failed quite soon (yep more than one).
They use a battery with no protection circuit and I think that kills the battery. Did you check to see if the 14500 in your light has the protection board?
I was able to replace the battery in the SunBlast with a protected cell but, only recently so will reserve judgment of longevity for now but, am hopeful I'll get a long life.
RE: Li-ion vs Ni-Mh , Ni-Fe, charging methods can be opposite and DANGEROUS, and everbrite solar motion detector,
BEWARE* Thanks, their comment that it needs no battery means its built in , the battery ICR 14500 3.7v AA Rechargeable Li-ion Battery for LED Torch: 3.7V - so really any 3.7v Li-ion (perhaps even Ni-Mh if charger were set for it** ) would work if it fit (ie 18650 is popular as well. ) but its slightly larger diam than AA.
*BEWARE: reports are these lights are catching fire. FYI: LI-Ion has been shown by Japanese and other to even explode like small explosion and also then the fire from overcharging and I think also over-discharging too fast... Ie Boeing planes going back to base, strange disappearances of whole planes (reports are they had Li-ion like Malaysia flight ? Laptops, smart phones like Note7 or S7? So TO THE MANUFACTURER why not just use Ni-Mh, its a bit heavier but I have never hear of one exploding, and ALSO don't set your charge controller to 100% charge, just use 90%, then you have some safety margin, when in high charge /dis-charge environment. Plus Ni-mh is tried and true, so good in fact that TEXACO bought the Ni-Mh patent and suppressed is use and manufacture for large scale electric car types, the patent ran out in 2016, but they are still pushing li-ion instead of the really much more safe Ni-Mh. There is a reason the most prevalent hybrid Toyota Prius used the Ni-Mh while Nissan Leaf all electric Li-ion loses range so bad over 1 year that the wives won't ride in them anymore. Side note: for POWER WALLS consider the Ni-FE (yeah nickel iron) , they last 100 years _+ and can be "willed to descendants" . Ni-Fe is heavier (but since power walls are stationary its ok,) , less energy dense (just add more batteries), so it works. Rumors are that 1910 Edison Electric car had Ni-FE and they still take a charge ?
Li-Ion: A friend had them put in her golf cart, she said "biggest waste of money ever" lasted less than 1 year? $$$ lost. One problem we had when experimenting with Li-ion vs Ni-mh was that if we zeroed out the batteries overnight, the Li-ion never came back but the Ni-mh DID come back (after 2 charge cycles?) and worked very well for years more. True story using cordless phone size batteries.
** WARNING: Ni-Mh is also a finicky battery with a reverse charge psychology: instead of the everyday lead--acid battery resistance growing with voltage near full charge it takes less and less charge; BUT the Ni-Mh is OPPOSITE of normal Lead-Acid types and which ever cell gets to full charge first becomes similar to a short circuit and will hog all the juice and heat up and even catch fire. So a DIFFERENT CHARGER IS NEEDED FOR Ni-MH and Li-Ion Vs Lead-Acid types. BEWARE OF THIS; one guy ended up losing his garage and house by not knowing this.
needing to solder it shows they are rip off artists
How long has it lasted since the battery change?
Yeah thanks, I was wondering what type of batteries it took because my pops bought one and it did the same thing. Now it only stays dim now and doesn't get Bright anymore.
Throw it out, now.
These things are catching on fire everywhere!!!
Wait it needs baterys??
Will they charge in the off position?

great video ty
Good thing you did this. The light is really really bad.
This thing sucks it worked 2 days for me before it quit working.
I would go take that 1 back and tried again!!!
Dam !! We gotta learn to come on UTUBE before we buy something .... Thanks - Live & Learn !
I'd be more disappointed if I was Hunter Ellis.
Once after twice😅
Glad I didnt purchase..too bad , great concept . Guess I will have to go the traditional route
I was a click away from purchasing & then my spider senses kicked in & said let me check out the YouTube reviews & low & behold I do declare... thank you so much for this video😬😬😬
Read the reviews, and I will not be purchasing. Looks like a hit or miss. I'll pass.
this product is a waste of time. bought three and all three stopped wprking around the same time
Thanks I was going to buy it after seeing it on tv
Mine works great........ we’ve had several thunderstorms but it continues like a pro....also noticed your light came on in the day light? (While charging)
Anyway, mine is good
I can’t get mine to work. Any advice?
Mine come on once. Period. And never again after that. BOO hiss. Do not buy!
I found it funny that it was lit when the sun was out , I brought one and it works fine , I place on wall by trash bins and it lights up area nicely when motion is detected
just buy a litom
I picked up 2,,,one lasted only 5 days the only 2 weeks,,,don't buy this,,,it sucks,,,I paid 20 dollars each,,,want my money back and can't get it,,,,why,,please tell me why,,,let me know if anyone can help me,,,thanks for your time 🙄
Well did u guys get it to work again ??
