what is the purpose of the spinny thing on the end of the handles?

First screwdriver: excellent choice of bits but the body is thin. You will struggle to grip it hard. The second one looks flimsy; if the bit holder breaks, the whole screwdriver must be discarded. The rechargeable one appears good but the charging port is very delicate and these connectors are not good for rough handling. Can it really drive a screw in hardwood without a pilot hole? The stainless steel one is very good but comes with only two bits. Does it accept standard bits or they will not fit? even then to keep them together will be a problem. But anyway I like the last one.

Hi Danny, good review and good subject matter. 4 things I would mention and or correct: 1-For all of the screwdrivers we have to guess the size of the drive whether it is 1/4" or the newer 1/8". 2- At 2:37 your text says "Some type of bits". I think you mean MANY types or MOST Common type of bits. 3- At 3:04 your text mentions 3 different colors, Red Blue and Brey, It should be Grey or Gray. 4- At 9:51 your text says automatic and DInamic it should be DYNAMIC. You do great reviews but these very few minor mistakes make your reviews just short of outstanding! As a question, what is the LED cube I see at 5:25?

Just received this very set after I agonized over a micro-bit set for 2 weeks. I also got two ifixit aluminum drivers and I agree - they are much nicer to hold and handle. But the bits seem to have less play in the wiha driver than the ifixit. I mean - I find both disappointing, but the ifixit is worse - especially the wobble. I may just put some tape on the wiha driver to compensate for the lack of any surface structure. Some more testing ahead. I will most likely be swapping some bits as the time goes.

I'm thinking if I could maybe use some sandpaper or a drill bit to put my own "knurling" on it 🤔 it just looks so nice and nothing else high quality (that I'm aware of) has that sort of presentation
Use a pair of `washing up rubber gloves‘ one size smaller than your hand and you’ll get all the traction on the driver you need 👍

xiaomi wiha set you reviewed has essential bits most people will need for dissembly of laptops, pcs or cellphones in order to clean up, swap damaged parts or for doing small upgrades nothing professional just enough for fixes any one can do. If you're doing professional repairs you'll get yourself something better but for most of us xiaomi wiha is enough.

I have this same set, i find it very handy for small screws but the width of the holder part is a little wide at 1 cm across at the widest point if you want to get into small spaces.

Hands down, the greatest precision set ever made. The Pico precision set gets work done and comfortably as well. I highly recommend it to those that don't have this set.
I assume this is pretty much identical to regular Wiha pico precision sets but i dont wonder in what scenario would you use precision screwdrivers where you need VDE/insulated tools? As always with Wiha im sure this is a great product but this seems a bit gimmicky to me.
