The cooler master is cheaper and glows brighter, but it pushes nowhere near as much air as this one.
If your going to install four of these it comes with fan controllers. But you can download fan control utilities online after you get them and manually control them through your computer.
Do I need a fan controller if i want to install like 4 extra fans in my computer?
IF your talking about the fan speed controller it was wired directly into the fan. So only one fan can be hooked to the speed setting for it and it comes out the back of the case in one of the slots next to the video card.

its pretty long if its going in a case then im sure it'll be long enough mine is plugged into the four pin goes into the back and is twisted with twist ties then comes back out and fits on the door and I can pull it out about 8 inches so it should defiantly be long enough!!!

dont know if u know but is better air flow and better fot the cpu that the side panel fans blow air IN.. im using the sames fans on my H100 4 of then 2 each side. on top of my HAF 932.cooling my FX8120. good fans.
