i wonder thou, i was thinking about the kaze flex fans ( rgb edition ) for my case, but, theres 800, 1200 and 1800 rpm's... wich one did u use in the vid? because id like to use 3 of emn, one being on my cpu cooler cooler master hyper 212 RGB black ed. because that fan produces WAY to much sound XD ( sorry if i missed it and uve actually told it in the video, got kids running around here XD )
What about akasa viper s flow 120mm? I need for radiator bionic or viper ? Viper seems have good specs than bionic. They have similar prices
In conclusion, you want best low noise and thermals, get plain ugly fans. And vice versa

I run a 360 mm rad on top and 6 other input (positive pressure/case fans).My issue would be not only best recommendations of fans, but controller as MB doesn't support 9 PWM fans thus a controller needed.Your Input would be helpful after seeing your test
Are you considering adding to the results some of the airflow focused fans for the exhaust case test (like for example the Arctic F12)? A case intake test would also be interesting, specially with those mesh front panel cases where these airflow focused fans would shine.
I would buy the Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM what do you think?
I'd be all over the Noctua NF-A12x25 fans if they made a Chromax or Redux versions.

Will the kaze flex at 1200rpm max be good for a radiator? Or will it eventually not be enough even if it seems to be performing well here? Really wondering if I should put them on my radiator if ever I end up getting one. Thanks

Manufacturers like to aim for lower decibels often at the expense of pitch. I find fans such as the Noctua's to be intolerable due to their pitch. The pitch of fans is something that few reviewers cover nowadays but it can make or break the users experience. Noctua's have a pitch higher up the hertz range.. Like an annoying mosquito. Some people can't hear it, usually older folk as the ability to hear higher up the hertz scale diminishes at varying rates over the years. Some don't notice it until the fans are switched off and they breathe a sigh of relief.Although technically a touch louder, a fan such as the Gentle Typhoon is much more pleasant to my ears. It has a gentle wind noise which inspired it's name. It's still the best static pressure fan in my humble opinion. Fan tech peaked a long time ago and nothing better in terms of cooling and noise has objectively exceeded those properties in the GT.
I'd buy Noctua's fans but I don't want it to look like someone took a dump in my case...

No Arctic P12? The 140mm variant got high remarks in the 140mm fans video. Safe to assume it would have topped this as well?
I just bought a monster system with all nzxt gear. I have 6 fans on the water cooler, and one 140mm in the back for exhaust, now i want to get 3 more on top for exhaust and would like to know what you think i should go with... 3 x 120 or 140 fans... Thanks!!!
the recording clearly shows how the Noiseblocker fan vibrates, within a year, two bearings and mounts can break down and start to make a lot of noise
Thank you for these test, very good way to test, there is so much tests where people compare dB a a certain rpm or min/max rpm which is useless because it doesn't blow the same amount of air at the same speed depending on the fan, that spectrum with temperature/dB is perfect and we see all speeds. Great job
