I use a B Blaster 120mm for my exhaust on a Corsair 330r Titanium case and it pushes an insane amount of air even on low with a fan controller. The 330r is a silent case and doesnt have the best air flow and this thing fixes that. 24c at idle and still silent. It does get loud when I ramp it up for gaming but not too bad. i have 3 pulling air through my 420mm x 140mm radiator. they move a ton of air, yes they are loud (I have them on a fan controller, not so bad at 50%). The fins break easy but they are cheap.
These are going in my case. I know people say these are good for radiators, but the amount of air these things push is insane from what I read. Noise doesn't bother me. Two of these on the top of the and three 140 stock corsair fans. With a fan controller look out. Yes, better static pressure means better performance cooling for both radiators and heatsinks I just bought 11 of these fans for my new liquid cooled build from Performance PCS. Searched for days and found more pricey fans with less specs, so bought the BGears. Got them not cause they were cheaper but because the specs were better. Can't wait to get them on my Black Ice GT Stealth 280, and 420 rads. these are best for radiators correct? I have one of these as my main intake for my NZXT phantom case, along with some scythe kaze-jyuni 120mm fans, and this B-Blaster provides the same airflow as a jyuni for MUCH less noise, and more static pressure. the increase in static pressure is great for air filters or heatsinks. the reason the fan was so loud in the video was because the microphone was inches away, and also being blown directly on, same as being on the beach in the wind.
I highly recommend this fan. 140mm 1800RPM fan isn't going to be quiet, especially pushing 90+cfm, hook this thing up to a fan controller if the noise bothers you buying two of these....how do they perform to you
