I’ve had my speedlight for two years and never used it. Now I feel like I can thanks to your great explanation.
I have bought a flashgun with a connection pin pattern and number of pins that don't match the pin pattern and number of pins on my hot shoe (hope that makes sense) and so the flashgun doesn't connect to my camera body - the only way to use it is through using a transmitter. Does anyone know if there is an adapter type tool I can use to have my flashgun work on camera or will I need to buy another flashgun?
