Psh, wish I saw this before.....perfect ATMOS speakers...just bought a paid, $150......they were on sale years ago for $50...that would have been nice.
Hi Zeos, I saw somebody reviewing them as ATMOS upfiring speaker, putting them on top of the front speakers of the atmos home theater setup. What do you think? Could it be the case?

Just grabbed these for top middle Atmos speakers. I'm not hooking up until we move into a new house next month but I'm excited and it's a good fit for my relatively budget system. Prime elevation we're just too much proportionate to the rest of my speakers
I have to agree 100% in all you said. These speakers are really WONDERFUL and the sound they make is absolutely unbelievable both for their size and for their price. Much better in fact that the much hyped Pioneer SP-BS22-LR speakers. They OWM3 speakers actually reproduces bass frequencies (within its limits) much better than the Pioneer ones. I would say that the OWM3 sound goes towards the analytical and detailed, there's no "veil" like the one you find on some "musical speakers" but they are not harsh. Can you recommend BETTER speakers than this one with the same kind of sound or timbre but way better? Thanks!
This is a pair of surround speakers. I pair them with my 7.1 surround amp. Quality is astonishing as rear surround speakers.

I have the passive 2.1 Bose acoustamass system at work collecting dust because of the cubes SUCK !!!! the bass modual isn't bad IF YOU PUT A MINIMUM OF 100 WATTS thru it. but I need these and they are cheap but damn good above 100Hz

I'm gonna throw the crappy Bose cubes in the ocean and use these with my base module. perfect for my work bench top system with my SMSL SA-50 wpc amp plugged into the headphone jack of my Sony am/fm, CD Boombox. nice little system. these Polks will work perfect with this system.

The owm5's are actually great for fronts as long as you are using a sub. Sub is a must. Not saying there isn't better out there, obviously. However, their -3 is 80hz and -6 is 60 hz, which is perfectly acceptable for crossing over to a sub and not notice any directionality. 91db so reasonably officiant to get loud enough as a front sound stage setup

Hi, Zeos! I'm thinking of building a 5.1 setup for my PC on a budget. I was set on going full on Micca MB42X fronts, Micca Center, and Micca Covo rears, plus a Dynamo 300 sub. Would a full set of these Polk OMW3's (fronts and rears) and a Polk OMW5 center plus the Dynamo 300 sub be better than my initially planned Micca set? Thanks!

Love your audio recording for this.  My question is how do they sound when you back up a ways?  Do you still retain the sound quality that you have at a 2 ft distance?   Im considering using these for rear speakers in a 5.1 system, where they obviously, wouldn't need to reproduce bass.  Thoughts?
