I got these lenses and used them with my 18-55mm lens but the telephoto lens leaves a black circle around the image. Am I doing something wrong??

If you look on the outward facing rim on the front of the lens it will have a number in mm (xxmm). My lens says 52mm for example. This polaroid lens attachment is made to fit a lens which says 58mm on this outer rim. So for me i bought a 'step-up' ring from ebay which changes the 52mm rim on the outside on my lens to 58mm so that the polaroid attachment can be fitted. Hope this helps. The adapter rings are really cheap and should be easy to find. This polaroid attachment is a great piece of kit!

Ma'am , I am interested in knowing a bit more about the super wide angle fish eye lens adapter from Altura. Can you please inform me about how much do we lose in terms of image sharpness and quality and about how much F stops does it alter? I have a 50 mm F/1.8 Nikkor lens and want to use this Altura wide angle + macro adapter. With that thing on I don't presume I can still get as low as F/1.8 . I can live with a total decrease of 1 F stop so that I can have F/2.8 equivalent. Again please enlighten me about how much sharpness and image quality do I lose using this?

Great video! You speak so quickly... lol I bought the fisheye, wide angle, and colour and other filters from Altura, and really, for the price, I am VERY impressed. I went to a high end photography store and took photos with lenses costing hundreds of dollars, to compare. Well, my Altura equipment are not bad at all in comparison, I mean I take pics for fun, for myself and to share with people, I'm not a professional, so the lenses are an awesome addition to have fun with! I am going on a long trip to the Arctic Ocean in a couple of weeks and will have a great time with my fish eye, wide angle, macros (both lenses have the macro attachment!) and 25 different filters!!! The filters are solid colours AND graduated colours, and also magnifying andthey are well made and beautiful! check them out! I am VERY impressed with Altura! Plus, every arrived well packaged snd very quickly!
