I've ordered, and received an M400 this morning. But it doesn't have a rubber cover for the USB charging port. I've noticed some video's have the rubber cover and some don't. Is there a difference?.

My 2 yrs old polar m400 is bad. the band is broken and it can't sync since i buyed it. and problem with charging.
Tons of problems plus that it doesn't have a fucking stopwatch! I could not imagine that a 200 eur sport watch don't have a stopwatch! I'll not do the mistake to buy another Polar product ever again!

I still have my black M400 (plus I bought a second-hand blue one last year). I still use it nearly every day for running, targeting daily goals and for Bluetooth to the Polar App. It still has long-lasting battery, great connectivity for its time and is good for sleep measurement. I'd probably buy a Grit X or V2 next, but I still find it hard to justify the change when the M400 is still solid.

Just one doubt that I didn't get. So if I make a costum workout on polar flow and tag that as favorite, them sync the M400, so I would just need to go to favorites on the watch and I could have acces all my favorites workouts on the fly? And a curiosity: I would like to know how is it on going trhough a workout. It has a timer which starts when you reach the object of each session of the workout and them advice you when it's over and change to the next part? example: 400m at pace < 3min/km them 2 min recovery. How would it be?
Is it true that the M400 will not track the steps unless the GPS is on? I have a polar loop that does that and I was looking at a upgrade that would do the same. But I hear that the M400 will not do that.
I have a Dilemma. I currently use a FT60 and earlier in the year I bought the Garmin Forerunner 220 for running. Now I see that polar released the new models and while I am leaning toward the A300 since I have a GPS watch, would I miss anything from the M400. Its a shame I didnt see this before I bought my 220 and am wondering how it compares to the garmin and what would you with regards of the a300 to m400 if I already have the Garmin?

Ives had my M400 watch for a coupe of years, your review is spot on, except for the amount of battery life in GPS mode. You said 3hrs, I can easily get 6 hrs out of mine.

Good video. My M400 I use for cycling. the battery is now 10%.do you think it is battery enough for one hour of cycling? or I have to wait to discharge totally to charge again? that will be the second charge. Thank you. Fernando
