Ive just got my brand new Impulse 61 .Ive installed automat 4 but when I open midi editor there are no controls their.Automap 4 has definitely installed so I don't know what the problem is .Its on an iMac.Any advice would be appreciated.

how does the semi weighted action feel compared to launchkey 61 mk2 ?i have launchkey 61 mk2 and i feel that the keys action and its velocity sensitive is not good enough for piano playing stylehow about impulse series ? thx u from Indonesia

Bless you brother for the review. I was considering the Oxygen 61 but the midi, expression input, and aftertouch are idealfor live use. This would make it the ideal second keyboard in a live rig. Thanks!

Keys are soft probably because it has aftertouch which requires a little more vertical travel to be triggered.But a nice video. :)

Thanks for this video. I use the Impulse 49 in combination with the Ketron SD40. The operation of the sd40 (sliding) on the Impulse seems very functional to me. How did you set that up on the Impulse and the ketron? You would help me a lot with that.I am also now experimenting with Native instruments on the Impulse. Just got this keys recently, beautiful feel keyboard but just couldnt connect with ableton properly, i think the firmware needs to be up to date. But works on. Standalone programs. But then this was meant to be used with ableton. Just felt disappointed in that

Hate this kb,couldnt get Air plugins db33 drawbars to work when assigning the cc numbers on the impulse,horrible Automap,half the transport controls dont work in Reaper,I regret my purchase.Only for tech heads which I am not.

Hi and congrat for the video, very good and useful as usual.... For me the problem is the keyboard...'cause i need minimum 76 keys controller... Is there any other option or 76 keys instrument as good as NOVATION IMPULSE to control my sd90? For example, i found out the NEKTAR IMPACT LX88+, do you think it will be good? THANKS
Have you tried transmitting clock via MIDI OUT? Source being MIDI In, Internal or USB? I cant get Impulse to send clock data to any other device via MIDI OUT
