Casio Privia PX-160 Digital Piano Review
Casio Privia PX-160 Digital Piano - Overview & Demo
Yamaha P45 vs Casio Privia PX-160 Digital Piano Review, Demo, & Comparison
CASIO PRIVIA PX-160 KEYBOARD REVIEW!
Can it be connected to a computer? Can other sounds be saved to it by means of one? How many can be saved and how? Someone advise me please is that I want the piano because I want a digital one that is of good quality but I play all kinds of music and I need other sounds
Function button with the lowest F and F# keys transpose it as well!

Even after 4-5 years on the market, this the BEST digital beginner piano on the market for the money. You get good action, sound and good but not so many features, as to distract from pure learning. Never spend too much money if you're just learning. By the time you reach good proficiency, other, more advanced keyboards that you like more now, will have dropped significantly in price. Once proficient, purchase a more advanced one(or a true acoustic) and keep the PX-160 as a nice rehearsal piano. Remember, the excellent player on this review gets beautiful sounds out of this keyboard. One day, you will too. It's always less about the piano and more about the player.
Is this piano sound the same of the Casio Ap-260?Nice review, by the way
How much is it?
Let's talk about this guy right here. Knows everything from Bill Evans to Herbie to Robert Glasper
Thank you for an excellent demonstration. Much appreciated.
Got a chance to buy one for a $150 brand new should i ?
I've owned a handful of digital pianos over the years (Korg, Yamaha, even the Nord Piano 2, Nord Stage 3 76HP, etc...). Currently and happily own this PX-160. Great feel, and absolutely fantastic piano (and Wurly) sounds. The Rhodes sound is lacking a little but the others are great. When you need better/studio-quality sounds, just connect the USB to your computer and play some sampled pianos (such as Piano in 162 or any Sampletekk grands or uprights, via Kontakt, etc).... it really is a beautiful instrument and probably my favorite thing Casio has made. Well-done, Casio. And superb review! Wait for the sales when this thing is around $399 (it goes on sale a lot).
I bought this Keyboard, its amazing
I find the keys much harder to play with, along with a slight bounce back action... not sure if this is a normal behaviour of this piano.
Does the Px 360 have the same samples as this one?
Is he improvising or these are some familiar songs anyone can find scores for? Anybody?
what do you think about this against the yamahap45
Is it possible to turn off the beep sound when you press function keys?
This review is the best out there because you demonstrate every voice for more than just one second! My favorite is Grand Piano Mellow
The sound is incredible! You are an excellent player, Erskine!
Awesome review!
What is the difference between PX-160CS and PX-160BK?
What is the song name on 4:56
Can it be connected to a computer? Can other sounds be saved to it by means of one? How many can be saved and how? Someone advise me please is that I want the piano because I want a digital one that is of good quality but I play all kinds of music and I need other sounds
Hi, does anyone know what model of stand and pedal unit shown at 4:45 works with this model? Thanks!
Is it good for a beginner?
Whats the first one hes playing?
with very little use the keys start to make a horrible plastic noise when they return to their original position
Slap that Biano!
Im semi beginner ive played guitar for years and have been playing keyboard/piano for a while (inconsistent) my problem is my piano only has 61 keys and has no access for a pedal which really limits my possibilities. I mostly play / learn classical and anime music. Also a bit of classic rock and pop. I love Elton John and queen
I cant understand becaouse I 'm argentino
Where has this piano gone? It's out of stock everywhere, also if I was to purchase it from your website how long would I have to wait for the backorder?
Hi wich piano is better :Casio CDP-S100 VS. Casio privia Px- 160?
that key split was amazing!
Sounds wonderful.
6:10 is he trying to slap the keyboard
great sound with modest price but impression as if a high-end stage luxury thing . . .
works midi with windows 10
Good day. Please whats the name of the piece that started at 3:30?
Does this come with a USB connection for computers or iPads. If not, are there any nice keyboards like this one that I can connect to a iPad?
Im buying this tomorrow.
This piano or Cdp 135? Please help!
in India, where I'm from, the casio px-160 is more expensive by about 6k, given it's price- it's got more features and sounds better than the yamaha p45. This video isn't a fair comparison in my opinion.
Dave Grusin - On Golden Pond! I love it!
porn backround music one, two...
casio
Which to choose? Casio PX s1000
Would love to see a video from y'all talking about the casio cdp s-100 relative to the p45 or other similarly priced keyboard.
Hi, Casio PX160 or Roland FP10 and why?...
Obviously the casio, but it costs much more
Yamaha sound better. To my ear
Excuse me sir, witch one do you think Is better, The Casio Px 160 oe The kurzweil ka-90?
piano won't play without the pianist so what is much better?
What are those pieces you play? Are just improvising?
11m 30s : I'll ride in an elevator with you any day my friend.
Can the casio px 160 when im using vsts/pluings..the sounds comes form the speaker itself rather then using external speakers?
He was grooving to the casio sounds lmao, I remember we had 2 of these in my piano class in high school and I played one once and just LOVED how it sounded and felt to play, and finally years later I'm seriously considering buying one. Will more than likely get one
From your videos, I get the impression that Casio is really standing their ground against Yamaha. I'd be interested to see a comparison of the PX-160 with the P-125, given that the PX-160 was Casio's main card for a while until the S-1000 showed up on the scene. Great comparison, great playing. Thanks a lot and keep it up!
Casio. Hands down
podran activar los subtitulos en espaol? as como me estoy tomando la tarea de aprender ingles!!!!
I really like the feel of the key tops and the key is on the Casio. I have a similar model from Costco at home. I think your comments on the wattage are kind of misleading. It takes a doubling of the wattage to increase the volume by 3DB all things being the same. The size of the speakers and placement can make more of a difference than then a couple of watts. I do feel like the action on the Cassie it was very noisy and because youre doing this through a direct line out you dont hear it when youre pressing the keys as much but if you turn them down and just play you can tell that the Casio is noisier and looser I believe.
Why do the electric pianos remind me of Mario Karts
Can it be connected to a computer? Can other sounds be saved to it by means of one? How many can be saved and how? Someone advise me please is that I want the piano because I want a digital one that is of good quality but I play all kinds of music and I need other sounds
Thanks for your honest review. I was hoping for you to go more into the features and sounds.
You sure it is only 25% or 100%?
I think Casio actually updated it. Mine can play more than just soft and hard notes. It might just be a new improved version.
Thank you for the helpful review!
Yo can you help me I hear buzzing when I play certain keys what should I do I keep moving my piano around for side to side in my room its on a stand please help
Is this wood support stable?
Having sheets of on the stand old news if u can play u don't that crap ...I have this same keyboard I'll tell u it's great the pedal sucks minor upgrade
I have been using this keyboard for over a year. I previously had Privia PX-350 for over 8 yrs and got this model for a great price with trade-in on PX-350. It started developing distortion sounds on midrange keys when depressed hard. I never had that problem with previous PX-350. I am not a professional musician and it had not been used hard. I can't recommend this model based on my experience. I recommend Roland FP-10 or better yet, FP-30 for bit more money. I would even recommend Yamaha P-125, but not P-45. I don't recommend Casio's newer PX-S series as I didn't like its keyboard action.
Thank you for this excellent review, now I know I have to spend a lot more money to get what I want.
Well then which one do you recommend for a adult beginner Im 22 really interested in learning how to play piano so I want a great sound quality and Good performance and long lasting one but this on in U.S is already $720 which doesnt sound worth it with how you described it?
The action on mine is ridiculously noisy.......
Thank you Im getting this!
Thank you very much for your review. It was very useful to me. I've just bought one of those to me to use as a second keyboard because this model is portable. I'm glade i've made a good choice. Great review.
So what would you recommend for someone who is more serious?
Thanks for all the info man! Extremely professional video
I played a piano once
Excellent review
Good looking man
I want to apologize for showing the wrong image at 1:25! Please refer to the links in the video description to view the PX-160 available for purchase online, as of January 16th, 2020, the PX-160 has been removed from Best Buy Canada's website, likely due to it being sold out.
