i have the same but mine is 2 x 8 and when i put it in it only runs at 800 when it is supposed to run at 1866
good tunes but clean up that rat's nest of power cables...ram goes in better when that shit is tight and clean. I am buying 16 gb of that mem tomorrow.

I have 16 gb 4x4 ddr3 viper black mamba and it saying it run at 1.5 but when I use my pc cold reset it run at 1.65 anyway I put it back at 1.5 and my pc wont turn on till I put it back at 1.65 please help
Just needed to make sure that this RAM wasn't made by some random crappy company because this looked like such a good deal. Running at 1866MHz and CL9 it was cheaper than most mainstream 1600MHz CL9 RAM. Hopefully it works well

its not really about RAM-CPU compatibility you need to look at the the type of ram (such as ddr3) and whether or not your motherboard supports it

Just overclocked my E6600 to 21GHz i'm using a mix of blood and urine to cool it and it's not really stable but i managed to run a few benchmarks and it's still slower than my 3770K.
