Yesterday they cracked to me...I had them for 5 years
I've been using these for about 3 years from an iPad. The listening pleasure beats far more expensive units, such as the ATH K series, that can often focus excessively on detail and 'studio monitoring clarity' while sacrificing a full-bodied theater quality musical experience. If you want to hear enjoyable music, rather than sitting there intellectually pondering the virtues of various technical attributes, then this, or something similar will not only suit your ears better, but save you a fortune that you might have wasted on some super-hyped $200-$800 set. That's not to say that you won't find better in those higher price ranges, but in my view, they will not be sufficiently better to warrant parting with that sort of hard earned cash. If you get half a chance, listen to these from an iPad. No need for a dac/amp, as the sound volume and quality are very good.A note on build quality: I've used these most days (perhaps in the region of 1000 times) and there's been no problem at all, not even any of the squeaking noted in the review. Just one point though. I live in the humid tropics, and some plastics have a short life time in such conditions. After about a year, the plastic coating on the foam ear pads disintegrated. As it turned out, that made no practical difference, since the foam itself has remains unaffected, and is just as comfortable without the cosmetic coating.

The bass is mind blowing, but yeah, after an hour or so my head and ears hurt :/
I find mine perfectly comfortable and the sound quality is amazing for the price. Got mine on clearance at Kmart for $24.99. There is nothing else that I could find that sounds as good for under $100.
Great quality headphones
My head is 62-63 ( XXL or XXXL) and they are really comfortable for 1-2 hours. But all the way i use them only in cold winter days, wearing on the cap.I think this is incorrect video, it's too subjective. What about lack in durability? Is it a joke? I've used them for a year and haven't even noticed sings of wear on them. Please do smth esle, NEVER do headphones review.

As of the date of this post.Futureshop has them for $50 refurbished, ebay has it for around $30 including shipping. Amazon us has it for $25 That's your best bet.And he's right about the clamping like style of these headphones.I'd say consider the RP DJ120. Better comfort sound is on par with these.If i could get a replacement headband, I'd keep using the ones i have speakers still going strong.
