Hi, I am using my Panasonic 7-14 on my Panasonic G80 during Vlogging. I often record during exhibitions interviewing customers. I noticed that the camera (lens) is constantly hunting. Do you think that this is because of the lens or the camera? If it is the camera, what settings do you suggest? Thanks!
Gh5s+a jimbal+the lens= a great real estate and commercial kit. Gh5s can shoot in indoor low light situations and real estate videography doesn't require a shallow dof because all should be in focus. So this lens is perfect. I'd say that even a kit lens paired with a gh5s is good but a kit lens doesn't have options wider more than 12mm but for most situations it's enough. Also gh5s crops image less than a gh5 so it gives even wider look.
Thank you for very useful videos! I'm looking for sharp wide angle zoom lens for Olympus mft body. But I still have some doubts about sharpness this lens.DxOmark's testers got poor instance, according they rating more affordable wide angle lens Zuiko 9-18/4-5.6 is more sharper at wide angle.

I always enjoy your videos. I like your presentation of the item on hand. Have you ever considered revisiting some of these lenses for another look. Your look at it after using it for some time. One of the things Youtube provides is at look at new gear. I appreciate that. I also really enjoy those who look back at older gear they have used for awhile. I would imagine your long term usage of certain lenses would provide valuable insight. I also just enjoy seeing you upload new videos. If this would provide us with new videos, long term reviews, I think people would watch. Your perspective would change based on new lenses and technology. I would find that interesting. Great review as always. Very informative, not too technical and easy going :) I have the GX8, 14-140 lens and the tiny, but amazing 14mm f2.5 (!) and honestly, I wish I'd had a MFT camera and lenses years ago. All off ebay too, so saved well over £400, and though used, the camera and lens are in superb "like new" condition. Now looking to add a 7-14mm lens as I love the sheer creativity of the ultra wide angle. I assume that lack of image stabilisation in the lens doesn't matter because of the body stabilisation in the GX8? Keep up the good work and thank you.

Great info! I just bought this lens today and yesterday I bought the Panasonic GX-85 as a backup camera to my Nikon D750. I also just ordered your book on the GX85 to familiarize myself with it, since most manuals don't go into enough detail.

Hi David I know the Olympus is more expensive then the Panasonic option but would you advise I use the Panasonic 7 - 14mm or the Olympus 7 - 14mm on my Panasonic Lumix GX8?
Price has fallen dramatically here in Europe, it's currently at about 800e, and one could probably haggle that down a bit. Almost half the price of the Olympus equivalent.
